The Double Barrel & The Whisky Shoppe — Restaurant in Beverly Hills

My husband and I have been regulars at this establishment since 2018, and we can't recommend it highly enough. It's like Cheers in Beverly Hills, with a welcoming and casual atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food is simply amazing. The whiskey selection is expansive, and they even have a list of unique and interesting bottles that you can try by the dram. Recently, they opened a whiskey store that has an impressive selection of rare and unusual whiskeys and spirits.

Snooty, unwelcoming staff. Overpriced and blah drinks if you go with cocktails. And yes, the snooty staff looked down upon the idea of ordering a cocktail. Perhaps they just had too much time on their hands given that the place was entirely empty. Meant for sipping an expensive bourbon as you sit on oversized leather chairs and pretend you're better and more accomplished than everyone else. Think like a university club for an ivy league school...only on the border of WeHo and Beverly Hills. Horrible concept for the location. What a waste of good...

This place is way overpriced. Me and a friend got 2 glasses of wine and a bottle of water which came to $48.00. The owner, Deep Sethi had the balls to ask for additional tip for less than mediocre service. The whole was almost empty. The owner made it sound that you had to become a member to keep coming there, what a load of #&*%$...
