I ordered through DoorDash I wanted to give them a try so bad because the aesthetic looked nice but when I ordered the matcha taste like a wheatgrass smoothie or like syrup not really ceremonial grade matcha. I called the place she asked if I was the one that ordered only “1” matcha I said yes I did (obviously it’s my first time ordering and I’m not going to buy a lot if it sucks) so then I asked is this ceremonial or culinary matcha she said it’s just matcha organic one. People what the hell are you opening a business and you don’t even know what in the world you are selling ? Also I noticed in the reviews it looks so good and this is how SIMPLE and BORING the one I got looks. Maybe I should of just walked in the store and ordered it maybe I would have gotten a better one. Since this one was delivered they knew I wasn’t going to come and let them know right away. Maybe I should have just walked in. ANYWAYS THEIR MATCHA SUCKS IF YOU ORDER IT ON DOORDASH OR DELIVERY. & she didn’t even apologize for the matcha being so bad. She apologized to getting away with the drink being gross. She didn’t care how I felt about them selling a BAD MATCHA DRINK. Had she felt bad she could have asked if they can make it up. But no . Bad costumer service whoever I spoke to...
Read moreWent on a matcha tour, cassetta was one of our stops. The drinks and ice cream are aesthetically pleasing, only the ice cream was good. I got an iced matcha latte with caramel and sea salt foam; the foam didn’t taste like anything, which is fine, but surprisingly the matcha was warm. I make my own matcha and have had plenty of store bought matcha, so I’m familiar you use warm/ lukewarm warm to whisk your matcha, but even with ice and added oat milk my matcha was warm. The taste was bland BUT it did not taste like grass and the color was beautiful; but the drink was not good. The taro tea was better than the matcha, not overly sweet but tasted okay. I honestly wouldn’t get either drink again or recommend it. The ice cream though was very yummy. Fresh strawberries was very refreshing, it’s non dairy but very creamy. The ice cream is the only item I would recommend getting . Service was fast, atmosphere was cute, drinks and food was adorable. I would only visit if you want to try this place and want good non...
Read moreCassetta is a fantastic tea, coffee and dessert shop in Beverly Hills! It easily is one of the best in this whole area of LA. If you’re looking for incredibly imaginative drinks - everything from dirty matcha drinks to unique twists on Thai tea to specialty milk drinks - they have everything here! They have a nice, big menu with pictures of all their specialty drinks, and when they’re presented they are extremely beautiful. They even add flowers and decorations to the drink, it’s really special! BUT, that’s not the only thing!! They have amazing soft serve as well!! You have got to try this if you’re craving a dessert!! They have really nice decor inside - you can even sit outside if you want too - and parking is really the only thing that’s somewhat difficult. We found street parking right nearby, but I can imagine at peak hours on a weekend it could be tough. Regardless, still very much worth checking out if you’re in the area....
