This was one of the worst fine dining experiences I’ve had in my life. First of all, the place was freezing cold so everyone had to sit in their jackets by their table. From that, the food would always come out lukewarm, especially because they must have had it pre-prepared because of their prefix menu. The miso soup was vomit-inducing. The meat was bland and undercooked. The service was disastrous, it’s like the whole team was entry level. The server would mumble what they were placing on the table and run away before answering any questions, leaving us confused as to what we were eating. Our empty plates would stack up before finally a busser realized the problem and frustratingly took the plates like it was our fault. The server would bring us the wrong drink after 15 minutes of waiting for one. The food was so bad that we just gave up on the entree and were anxious for the check to get the hell out of there before we froze to death. The worst part? They charged a 20% forced tip despite the complete lack of service and amateur cooking, coming out to $400 for two people. This place was shut down 8 months ago and remodeled so that they can shake off their horrible history, but remnants clearly remain and they won’t last another 8 months, I’d bet my life on it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE, YOU WILL BE THOROUGHLY...
Read moreLately every time I’m in Beverly Hills, I see this place and I’ve always wanted to try it. Inside it’s decorated like you’re in a fairyland. It’s pretty small and fills up at night time with large groups. They also have a bar area where the head bartender Maverick makes the best drinks.
I came with a friend and we ordered the Okinawan Old Fashioned, Yuzu Margarita, Assorted Sashimi which came with Smashed Cucumbers & Miso Soup. We also ordered the Spicy Tuna Crisp, Diamond Maki Roll, and Jade Maki Roll. The drinks were fabulous. Sashimi was fresh, cucumbers ok, soup was good, the spicy tuna crisp was really good and different. The diamond maki roll was pretty pricey and came with caviar and gold flakes but I didn’t really care for it. The sauce tasted like basic mayonnaise, but I absolutely loooved the Jade Maki roll. It was my favorite dish of the night. We were stuffed so didn’t get dessert but I can’t wait to come back and try some of their other food and drinks. The staff is nice and our waitress Kelly was excellent. It’s only been open about a month so I can’t wait to see what else they bring to the table.
P.S - this spot is small so keep your eyes open or you might pass it. There’s not much parking in front but there’s a parking structure around the corner where you can park...
Read moreI visited Jade in Beverly Hills yesterday with my girlfriend, and we had an incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was luxurious yet inviting—a perfect mix for a special evening.
For appetizers, we started with edamame and the spicy tuna crisp, both of which were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, setting the tone for what was to come.
For my main, I couldn’t resist ordering the Diamond Roll, and wow—it lived up to its name! Packed with lobster, caviar, and topped with gold flakes, it was both visually stunning and bursting with flavor. For dessert, I indulged in a chocolate tart with strawberries and, yes, more gold flakes. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.
We also paired our meal with a bottle of champagne, which elevated the entire dining experience. The staff was attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout the night.
The vibes at Jade were amazing—chic, vibrant, and upscale without being pretentious. I would absolutely recommend this spot for a date night or any special occasion. We’ll...
