Nestled amidst the glamour of Beverly Hills, Porta Via stands as a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. After stumbling upon it while exploring the neighborhood, I was intrigued by the promising reviews and decided to experience it firsthand.
Upon entering, I was greeted by an inviting atmosphere that exuded warmth and charm. Despite its unassuming exterior, Porta Via proved to be a culinary delight, offering a menu that boasted a diverse array of options.
Opting for the Barada and a selection of mussels, as well as indulging in a steak and spaghetti, I was treated to a symphony of flavors that left my taste buds tingling with delight. Each dish was a testament to the chef’s skill and creativity, showcasing a perfect balance of textures and tastes.
What truly set Porta Via apart, however, was the impeccable service. Despite visiting during a slower period, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. From their attentiveness to their genuine warmth, they elevated the meal to a truly memorable occasion.
As a bonus, discovering that they offered my favorite sparkling water, Pellegrino, only added to the overall experience. It was clear that every detail had been carefully considered to ensure maximum satisfaction for their guests.
In conclusion, Porta Via surpassed my expectations in every way. From the delectable cuisine to the exemplary service, it left an indelible impression that will undoubtedly have me returning for more. If you find yourself wandering through Beverly Hills, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Porta Via—it’s a culinary experience not...
Read moreThis place was just okay. I must say I was a bit disappointed as I drove 45 minutes to get there. Let me start by saying I ordered the rigatoni Bolognese and I felt like I was served a prison meal ....it was some half cooked noodles with a ladle of meat thrown on top, a touch of cheese and way too much garlic. Was I actually charged over $30 with tax for this meal? Talk about disappointed.... I found the staff unfriendly, no one smiled, I arrived about 5 minutes before my party, I sat at the bar, I was offered a drink but the bartender never returned......when I got to my table, I ordered the Pinot Noir it's a no no .....it tasted like either it was left over from a previous bottle a few days ago, or it was some cheap bottle that they purchased at a discount store~but I paid $20 for it with tax... it was the worst $50 I ever spent.... aside from the fact that it's in Beverly Hills on Canon, it had a decent atmosphere, but I definitely would not recommend it or eat there again ...if you want to people watch and you want a good meal, there's several other places on the Block to try, but I give this place a swollen thumbs down... as a point of Interest I know Italian food I've eaten Italian all over the United States and in Italy and this place could not be compared to any of the places that I've eaten anywhere I'm not a chain food eater but I'll tell you what the food was better at Olive Garden and I'm not big on...
Read moreAs we were eating dessert about 50 giant cockroaches began swarming around us and crawling under our feet and up our table. We had to run away frantically to avoid them crawling on us. Myself and all the other guests dining were screaming. I am deeply traumatized. The owner, manager and staff were unfazed and just shrugged their shoulders and said “not our fault, this is Beverly Hills, what do you expect” UM WHAT!??? I have never experienced anything like this at an upscale restaurant!!! I had to demand our dessert be comped 3 times before they gave in and removed it from the bill. The entire bill should have been free! If you decide to eat here, know that there are giant cockroaches in their kitchen and they may swarm your feet at any moment! 🤢🤮
*update: the owner replied to this review saying they were “water bugs”. THEY WERE NOT WATERBUGS! LOL! I am from NYC and know a giant cockroach when I see one! The right thing to do would be acknowledge the truth & not lie! Even the staff on site that night knew they were cockroaches. The bus boy even laughed because he knew this was not the first time the cockroaches terrified guests! The staff on site that evening should be fired for how poorly they handled the situation. I am in contact with local officials to let them know about the infestation and health hazard at...
