CAVA — Restaurant in Beverly

It is rare to find at a fast casual restaurant, but I was amazed here in Beverly, MA. Mike greeted me and was very down to earth and friendly. I mentioned it was my first time and I could tell he took responsibility to make sure I was blown away. He answered questions about the menu, gave advice on some tasty options, and personally made my food. The food was so delicious. I was a chef for 20 years. Every ingredient was uniform fresh and high quality, I was really impressed. I slammed the Greek chicken wrap down and felt great afterwards. Something that usually doesn’t happen at other fast casuals, ha ha. As for Mike - all the employees were friendly and looked to be enjoying themselves, but as a company, Cava is a super lucky to have a guy like that around. My best friend was an executive chef, general manager, and food sales rep for years. He told me to check it out and I was not disappointed. CAVA has quickly become one of my go to spots for a healthy and satisfying meal. Their build your own bowl concept is perfect for anyone who loves bold Mediterranean flavors and wants to customize their meal to fit their tastes or dietary needs.

The ingredients are always fresh from the perfectly seasoned grilled chicken and lamb meatballs to the vibrant toppings like pickled onions, tomatoes, and olives. The dips and spreads are the real stars: their crazy feta, roasted red pepper hummus, and tzatziki add layers of flavor to any bowl or pita.

I used to work at a competitor in the NY area as a high schooler so I deeply appreciate the intricacies of line- based Mediterranean food chains. In my experience everyone would say "cava is better"! And I used to get offended. But I came here to the Beverly location as a new resident of MA, and I even said as I came in "I used to work at a place like this and hate when people didn't know how to order, but I'm gonna be that annoying person haha" and the girl at the counter was so patient and made suggestions to me when I was looking at all the options. It was a really nice full circle moment for me. I particularly enjoy the cast iron inclusion in the serving line at the hot bar.
