Lucky Dog — Restaurant in Beverly

Okay by far one of the most bizarre bars I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The majority of the crowd consists of young Beverly residents whom I've never seen outside of the bar...i mean never. I suppose one could call them hipsters I'm not really sure what the term is they dress funky have great personalities and I believe May attend Montserrat School of Art. There are a few random people in there that I believe have been there since it was Barney's 35 years ago. The bartenders are seemingly average Everyday people. The place is always busy the popcorn is delicious. The strangest part of the whole atmosphere is the music it just doesn't match the crowd stereotypically speaking but anyone that comes in there would find it off that a bunch of 21 year olds listen to Frank Sinatra and Neil diamond and enjoy it immensely as if dancing around and having a good time it's just strikes me as odd that's all but it's a great place the drinks are decent for a tiny bar they usually have three bartenders and a couple of bouncers so you definitely to eat and you definitely get a drink with timely fashion thing I find on but it...

This place used to be great, 2 years ago it would have received 5 stars. The atmosphere is still that of a nice basement bar but they have tried to make it more upscale, which it is not and will never be. They have raised the prices of the beer and have gotten rid of pitchers. I was in there one night recently and they were charging full price for a beer that was served in a 10 oz plastic cup. They also allow to many people in this place, way over capacity. They only only have one single person rest room, good luck. Thursdays are also a horrible evening due to trivia and people show up by themselves and take all the tables/bar space and save it for their friends that are coming hours later. Still good for week nights...

FIVE STAR DIVE BAR!!!! This is my happy place!! They are the best bar in the north shore hands down!! The bartenders are so skilled, funny, and welcoming. The beer taps are the cleanest in town and they procure the best beer. No where else I’ve ever been remembers my order and has it ready before I even sit down! The bathrooms are always clean, the music is always awesome, and the vibe is always chill! If you’re thinking of stopping by DO IT!!
