Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Biddeford

I am a college student, we were going to have a movie night with pizza but no other places were open so we thought "Hey, papa johns is still open!" So I ordered online and was never told an estimated delivery time. We then waited for an hour. An HOUR, that shouldn't be the delivery time for ding dang pizza! So I called, they said the pizza guy was on his way. So then, we waited twenty more minutes before he actually showed up. He didn't just show up though, he waited outside another dorm house in the dark, like he wanted me to come get the pizza or something. That's kind of creepy. So I waited outside my dorm house door for him to come to me. My pizza was burnt on the bottom and it wasn't even hot. I then looked up how far this Papa Johns was and it said it was ten minutes away. What the heck? How did it take an hour and twenty minutes to deliver a pizza that's only ten minutes away. And the fact that this wasn't the first time I've experienced this from them makes me even more angry. I am never getting pizza...

This is a long post... bottom line: Food amazing, would buy again; what a wild ride just to get a pizza in my possession.

The long story: This visit was a little confusing to say the least. The store is located right at a dangerous inersection, so backing out is not an easy option during prime time, and backing in is not really an option due to the traffic as well. If you go at it intelligently you can manage to use sidewalk space to back into and pull out parallel to oncoming traffic. Next up... one you park and get out of the car you're staring at adoor and a sliding window. A man comes to the window and asks how he can help. I said I was to place an order and he tells me to come through the door anyway... He takes the order, and the printer isn't working. He slaps it and twists it and pays parts of it sideways and it spits out about 5 receipts from previous orders. I wish they could solve some of these puzzling points. They would save time, and be more professional in appearance to...

NEVER ORDERING AGAIN. I placed an online order for delivery at 4:13pm. The app told me it would arrive between 4:55-5:05pm. At 5:20 I called to asked an update on my order since it hadn’t arrived. She told me that the delivery driver couldn’t find me and took it back to the store. No one had called me or reached out to me about this. They told me he would be coming back. At 5:45pm I called back again since it still wasn’t there. The manager said that he would be leaving in 5 minutes to give me my order. He did not arrive until 6:20pm! Over two hours after I placed my order!!!! And he forgot my drink! I said don’t bother going to get it. I called to get some of my money back and the manager wasn’t available to talk to me. Such a waste of money for a freezing cold pizza and not even what I ordered. Go to any other pizza place before you go to this...
