Yummy House — Restaurant in Biddeford

Food is pretty good and a good deal for the price, however the customer service is extremely bad and although I like their food and prices I will no longer patronize this business. I have been dealing with a very rude young lady who answers the phone and who takes orders in person when I go in to order and today was the last straw. In the past I have ordered takeout and about 50% of the time my order has been wrong. One time she argued with me and hung up on me, and when I called back she said to bring it back in and they would correct it but would still change me a delivery charge. I was at work which is why I got delivery in the first place. When I order in person I always check my order before I leave, as they have given me chicken nuggets instead of chicken fingers 3 times now. The last 2 times the young lady argued with me and I gave up and just took the wrong order. Today it happened again, and I asked her to correct it. She argued back and forth for a few minutes, stating that she had taken the order correctly. I repeated my request to correct the order, at which time she grabbed my food, slammed back into the kitchen and threw it on the table in the back, all the while animatedly talking very loudly and sarcastically in her native language, presumably about me. A few minutes later she came back out, slammed my food down on the counter, and stormed off. I like their food the best in town, but I will no longer subject my self to this "customer service". I have previously owned a local business and if an employee of mine had treated a customer in this manner they would no longer be employed by me, however, this young lady has worked here for years and continues to treat the customers this way. Update 01-24-24 Got pork fried rice and teriyaki steak, and teriyaki chicken, again worst Chinese I've had in 3 years. Teriyaki were unrecognizable and greasy as hell, flavor tasted like old overheated grease, the rice was barely edible with a strange smell and odd flavor, I thought 3 years went by from last visit, so I gave them another try. Truly awful.. should have listened to my last review... Now I will never go back again, as long as these owners still are involved. Yuck yuck yuck !!! yes I was a fool to go back, trash can got it !!

3 years ago Went there last night bought a pu pu platter let me just say this is the worst Chinese food that we have had in our entire lives not only did the food have odd flavors that reminisce of spoiled food but they are inedible and we had to throw them all away!! it was the worst Chinese food we have ever had not only flavor wise but also look wise and any other way you want to look at it... this place does not deserve anyone's money it's a waste and you are getting ripped off there are other places in the near area and they are way better only a fool would go back twice to this place !!! obviously this person won't go back ever!!!! Be aware you will get screwed here if not sick as we are ill today good luck and stay away from...

I ordered Yummy House last night and it was the worst service, worst food ever. The only person that was even sorry was the driver! And none of this was even his fault. He was very nice though. I ordered a large boneless pork spare ribs and 2 egg rolls. First, they sent me a SMALL and the meat was so dry, flavorless, no sauce, hard and chewy all the way through. It looked and felt like it had been under a heat lamp all day. The egg rolls were also dry and old. They brought only 1 very small container of duck sauce when I asked for 4. (I offered to pay more if necessary.) The spring rolls were also dry and old AND the chicken fried rice wasn't even moist. I didn't eat the container of pork, instead I called and told them that I wanted it corrected. So, they sent me a large that was from the same batch of nastiness. I ate two small bites of the small and threw it all away. It was $36 and some change. The worst food I've ever gotten, and I have been ordering food there for years. It's been getting bad for a long time now. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THEM. GROSS! YOU WILL END UP THROWING IT OUT TOO! BIG WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME! Wish I could attach pictures, but I can't...
