Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Big Rapids Township

Last time I went through the drive thru they didn't have everything for the sandwich I ordered & didn't tell me when I ordered or got the sandwich. A Beach Club sandwich, comes with sprouts. It says it on the menu board. Then after going through the drive thru, I get home (3.6 miles 1way) & call after seeing a missing topping only to hear they were looking for a new supplier for sprouts, didn't have any, & even though I paid for what I expected they weren't going to adhere to merchantability law when I wasn't informed upon placing the order & inform anyone else that ordered it, as I suggested because it's a legal issue if they don't. They refused to do anything to make it right for the customer (me) unless I drove right back because they don't deliver past the bridge, even though I've ordered at a friends house that is over 5 miles from them. They wouldn't send me anything or keep my name for a free sandwich to replace their screw up like EVERY RESTAURANT IN TOWN DOES because they care about keeping customers happy. This place doesn't follow proper food service rules. I ordered online and got there a bit early. There was two guys making the order. I watched as one of the guys almost put onions on the order and looked at the other guy and said "I think I put onions on that one." The other guy looked and said yes. My order for both sandwiches was without onion. I watched them pull the onions off the sandwich and re wrap it.

They had no idea if I was allergic to onions or not. They should have remade the whole sandwich and did not. I mentioned to the lady that brought me my order and she said sorry. I told her they should not be doing that because they are going to possibly kill someone some day. What if my order of no onions was because of an allergy?

I called cooperate to complain and never even heard from the manager or anything. This place doesn't care about proper food procedures when they make a mistake. Be careful as you might be allergic to something and it still touches your sandwich. Will not be back to this place after what...

We stopped at this Location on 10/19/16. I mistakenly ordered the wrong item, it was made, and then paid for by my husband while I was reading the menu and realized I ordered wrong. I was just going to let him eat his and mine, but the young man at the register came to our table and said they would remake it for me. I said that's okay, my hubby will eat it. The young lady that made it reached out to me and said she would take it back and make what I wanted. They were so sweet and pleasant trying to please me. She remade my sandwich, which was delicious.
