The Waypoint — Restaurant in Big Sky

I am not someone to write negative reviews but I feel the need to warn others to not come here if you plan to order fish. I was served the worst piece of fish I’ve ever had—not only was it clearly previously frozen and then overcooked but it tasted moldy so I literally spit it out. On the bright side, they didn’t charge me for it, so there’s that. The beet salad was pretty good, but my partner said his bison also tasted like it was previously frozen. Tarantino Movie Night. We walked in at 6:30, had delicious food by 6:50, grabbed some large buttered popcorns and pop and walked right into the theatre at 7:10 for Reservoir Dogs. The bison chili is fresh and delicious. Everyone is accommodating and clearly wants to provide a fun and warm environment. The theatre is very nice. It's a fun family night destination (and for those who drink alcohol a very nice bar and tender). Pulp Fiction next Thursday! We'll be making this Tarantino movie run a family night each week. ...

During my stay in Big Sky I absolutely loved The Independent! I popped in once to check it out and the bartender was amazingly personable, and helpful explaining all about the upcoming events. I then continued to bring friends and family in to check it out. Then I went to a movie, where you can order a drink at a well stocked bar and bring it into the theater - plus great movie popcorn!
