Rock Creek Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Billings

Sadly, today was not a good day at Rock Creek. I come into this place often because I love the coffee. Unfortunately there is one employee who, no matter how friendly I am to her she is usually cold and quite the opposite. I never let it get to me, but today she had been smiling at the customer before me and turned toward her usual disdainful face when I approached the counter. When asked if I'd like anything else I said, "It would be nice if you continued to smile." In my mind, I was thinking how enjoyable it was to see her that way. Instead of feeling good about it she shot me down with, "I don't smile on demand." And walked away as if I had just hit her over the head with a stone and commanded she "do as I say." I spoke to the manager immediately and was given the excuse of how busy it was that morning and that I needed to be more understanding of her rudeness. No apology. No concern for me as a customer or the fact that I'm a kind person, and was being kind in asking to see the joy on this usually...

Today was a rainy day, and I thought well I'll grab a quick coffee at some spontaneous coffee shop I've never been to before, I checked the hours before I walked in, and I had thirty minutes until close. The lady was already cleaning out the espresso machine, and asked rudely what I wanted to drink, and of course I wanted a mocha latte, and she proceeded to glare at me, and obnoxiously threw down what she had begun cleaning to make my drink. I'm beyond disgusted with the service I received, and will plan accordingly to never go in again, since I was such a burden for coming in thirty minutes...

I have never received spectacular costumer service here. The coffee was ok, nothing too special. I do know one time I waited nearly 20 minutes or more for one single cup of coffee, I thought well maybe their having an off day. Well, I just heard about how the owner of this establishment turned a blind eye to a dying man on the sidewalk. This poor man was somebody's father, uncle, grandpa etc. How someone could be so cruel is beyond me and I will never understand this type...
