Updating our 3 star review to 1 star

**Updated Experience that happened last night, we came by 6 months ago and did not have a good experience, manager reached out, said it wouldn’t happen again. Fast for, we have reservations for my daughter and wife’s birthday. We get to the casino 20 minutes before hand to find parking and have time to get up there, but got stuck in the garage traffic. Stand still line, hostess calls and tells us we have 3 minutes to get to the restaurant or they would cancel our reservation. I explained our party was in two cars and stuck in the garage and wouldn’t be able to find parking and still get there. I asked if park of the party was able to get there Minus the two drivers and was told no. The WHOLE party has to be there, which is crazy. I would understand if we were still On the road, but being stuck in the garage when more then 80% of our party could be there in the time frame and still being told no. I wouldn’t recommend this at all, again BR Prime, Scarlet Grill, Chimeys, and Half Shell are all better options. They know how to treat their customers.

This is our first time actually coming here and we weren’t really impressed. So many people have talked this place up, and it could just be this location, but nothing made it stand out from the rest, especially the prices for the plan food. The steaks were good but not $50+ great. The sides were pretty plan, the mac really had no flavor and sauce was watery, normally Au Gratin is made with oval slice potatoes and sauce thicker, this one has little diced potato and a pretty watery side. The sweet potatoes were good, but had a pasty texture. Like I said the steaks are good, but the whole “sizzle” affect causes the plates to be unbearably hot, so please make sure your children don’t reach for them. The over all restaurant had a sorta hotel lobby feel, there were visible drywall on some walls that they just patch up, just not the experience we were expecting. Our server was...

So it's my 10 year anniversary and also my bday we run a little late for our reservation we call and extended our time to 30 mins later .... We choose this restaurant cus it is a milestone occasion for us. The first thing was we got thier, 4 mins early for our extended time ...and they made us stand there without any explanation told us a time on the dote we came back then and still we stand there. The two girls at the front, wasn't warm or welcoming at all... it's almost like sense we were late for our original time they made us wait on our extended time ...the smug attitudes set the mood for the whole thing ..the server was nice but she spent more time with the people around us . I left there almost in tears and we paid all that money for an experience, all the tables around us got . The maager even went to a table that had jst sat down and we were already on our last course walked right past us . All I have to say ....if u come here on ur anniversary and are middle class and first time experience ....go to the Road House Grill (right next door)as they were more nicer and more welcoming and better experience. We paid alot of money, only for the sever to throw out my remaining lobster and rush us thru the whole experience. It was awful and very over-rated ... Idk if it has to do with it being in a casino and couples like us being a dime a dozen to them but my money spends jst like the table beside us and across from us. We only tipped 10% ...only becus of all these things ... It literally almost ruined my whole night . Ruth crisp in Biloxi at the Hard Rock is way over-rated and they pick and choose obviously who is worthy of a warm welcoming and service .. its jst a disgust to me as were in days that a dollar doesn't go far ... It's sad that this is how they treat people. I will never go to this restaurant again , again it's way over-rated and not at all worth ur dime. . Hard pass on being treated bad and over looked and...

We visited this location out of town for vacation. We made reservations based on recommendations from friends who have vacation homes in the area. This was a mothers Day celebration for our wives, and it was absolutely the worst fine dining experience I've ever had.

Our server couldn't care less about our presence. I worked in the fine dining industry for 8 years at one point in my life, and this person was terrible. This person's name was Lisa according to our receipt. This person ignored us and presented no knowledge of what fine dining service means. We had to stop her so that we could order our dinner. The pacing was terrible. The appetizer came out twice. The 2nd time was after we already ate the first one. Then our salads came. They were ok. The ingredients were good, but the timing was awful. The steaks were literally 50/50. 3 out of the 6 were under cooked or over cooked. It also took over an hour to get our entrees.

The manager came by after our entrees had been delivered, and after we sent back the steaks that were incorrect, he acted like he had no clue... this is a fauxpaux. Especially in fine dining. The manager told us his name was Michael. He kept trying to explain things other than our problem but finally admitted that we didn't deserve the experience. My wife didn't want to wait for another steak to be made because we had waited too long already.

He ultimately comped our bar drinks (1 round) and comped 2 of the 3 steaks. He did nothing to reprimand the server. In fact, when we got our bill, they only took off 1 steak. They did correct it eventually. However, they never changed the server, and no one paid attention to detail. This is NOT a restaurant that I would recommend to anyone!

Typical Casino Fine dining restaurant that just tries to get the masses through and doesn't care about details.

Staff isn't trained properly, and the representation or management on this shift is...

Update: After this post, I received a phone call from the manager regarding this experience. After a lengthy conversation, he apologized and offered to make it better by sending a gift card to give Ruth's Chris another chance. That was almost a month ago and no gift card arrived. I called again last week and spoke with him again. He apologized yet again and said he would get another out. I'm still waiting but I don't think a gift card is coming. I'm Very, very disappointed with this company. This is not the Ruth's Chris reputation that I remember. Sad. Not-so-happy hour! We did the happy hour and left underwhelmed. My first plate had super greasy french fries. I was shocked these were allowed to leave the kitchen. 2nd order of fries were way better. See pic. Ordered my burger medium and was more like medium rare. Plenty of blood. Husband ordered sweet potatoes side which never came to the table but was on our bill. In my opinion, the salmon wasn't fresh. My husband ate it but I would've sent it back. No house merlot but my friends weren't told that the glass of merlot the server recommended was 42.00 a glass. 2 glasses were 84.00!!!! The manager did take care of them later that night and apologized. When the bill was presented, no pen to sign the bill!!! I had to dig a pen out of my purse!! Not cool. I have a feeling we are done with Ruth's Chris.

This was my first trip to a Ruth's Chris and will probably be my last. I have been to several high end steak houses around the south (chain and independent) and this one is at the bottom of the list. I'm extremely skeptical of all the positive reviews but to each his/her own I guess. I normally don't photograph my food but I was compelled to take a picture of this poorly dressed $10.50 loaded baked potato. The potato just screams lazy. My ribeye although cooked correctly was not a good cut of meat. It was excessively fatty not marbled, but ribbons of inedible fat. At this price point I should only have to put minimal effort into cutting my steak this one required me to saw through and around fat. Upon me asking, I was told by the waiter that all of their steaks are wet aged and I much more prefer the flavor and texture of dry aging. I wanted to enjoy a Guinness with my steak but they only had the basic beers that you can get for free on the gaming floor. Considering they price their food (steaks in particular) near the stratosphere, I felt like I had been robbed. My wife enjoyed her sea bass but, you don't go to a steak house for the fish. At that price point there are better choices out there.
