If there were a NEGATIVE star ratings I would give this establishment a 10!!! My flight crew and I walked across the Street from the hotel to have a early dinner. Being that this was phase 2 in the reopening of restaurants we were expecting limited seating. We sat down fairly quickly, but our waitress took forever to get our drink order. She finally came back around and took our order. There were four other servers in the restaurant and only one server was doing any work. Everyone at my table received their food and then my waitress explained that my chicken sandwich would be an additional 10 more minutes. Everyone finished their meal and I still did not receive my chicken sandwich and then I was told that they didn’t know what a blackened chicken sandwich was. She stated she would take it off my tab, I then said I would take it to go. They were short handed in the kitchen so apparently the manager Matthew Gather was “helping” out. Meanwhile I observed One server the entire time hanging on her boyfriend and his friend while she vaped at the table (we sat inside the restaurant) . She Did not want to tend to any other tables. Other servers played on their phones and made TickTock videos while there were 3 families Waiting at the door to be sat for 20 minutes. The manager finally came out to address my meal never coming to the table and was arrogant and rude and never once apologized. I Tried to explain to him what was going on and he very rudely interrupted me and said “Are you finished? I have to go talk to other customers” then asked me “Do you still want the food to go, cause you said you didn’t care anymore!” The manager also explained to me that we don’t have blackened chicken on the menu and how would I make that sandwich anyway?. I pointed Out to him that he had blackened mahi on the menu and all he would need to do is put that seasoning on the chicken. Clearly this restaurant is under very poor management and don’t have a clue how to treat their patrons or make food. If you’re wanting to eat And be treated halfway decent I would go to ANY OTHER...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience and unfortunately this was the third time in a row. Needless to say, my wife and I will never be returning to Hooters again. Below is a breakdown of my bill and why my experience was so terrible.
(1) 3 Mile Island Bloody Mary - $8.19 For a premium drink that cost over 8 dollars, you would think the alcohol content would at least give me a buzz. I've had stronger beers than this drink. Complete ripoff.
15 Wings 1/2 & 1/2 - $15.99 What is going on with the wings? Prior to this visit my wife and I ordered wings and they were nothing like how I remember from all my previous experiences at hooters. They were tiny, like the egg hadn't even hatched yet tiny. How are you going to charge over one dollar per wing for something that small? Is this a joke? And what's even more disappointing is the fact that I asked our waitress before we ordered them if they were going to be those tiny pathetic excuse for wings and she said "No they pretty big." Well, they weren't.
7 Naked Dayton - $0.70 In addition to paying over 1.00 per wing for some that, I swear to God, were smaller than my wife's pinky (and she's only 5'4 110 lbs), we also have to pay extra to have them split? Wow, okay. Again, I feel like I'm being ripped off.
Curly Frieds - $3.99 A little over priced but I won't complain too much about it.
Blue Cheese - $0.99 I am now up to $1.18 per wing.... $1.18 per wing.... $1.18 for one teensy weensy wing. You people have lost your damn minds....
(1) The LIT - $7.99 This was my wife's drink. As I mentioned before, she's a small lady (5'4, 110lbs) and she felt nothing after drinking this. Now, in all my past experiences with Long Island Ice Tea's, I've never been daring enough to have more than 2 or 3. I was actually really surprised when she ordered this and with the $8 price tag I figured we'd get our moneys worth. WRONG. Again, another rip...
Read moreMy family had the worst experience inside the Trussville, AL store tonight. There were customers at 5 tables, only, and 5 customers at the bar. We were seated promptly by a polite waitress. We ordered within 5 mins of seating. Order was placed, and drinks provided. After 30 minutes of waiting, our waitress finally notices that we haven't received our food. Meanwhile, she had been talking with a gentlemen at another table across the room. There are plenty of waitresses and it was a very slow night. The waitress leaves to see where our food is. Turns out our order had never been placed. Remember this is 30 minutes after we ordered. She explains that the manager told her to discount our meal. Wrong answer. I work in the restaurant industry. I called the manager over and explained how upset we were at the time frame as well of just receiving a discount. I gave her a nice little speech on customer service and you could tell she wasn't bothered by it. Needless to say we left the place. We canceled a $60 order that I'm sure they could've used tonight. She should have immediately came to our table and explained what happened and offered us a free meal. Instead, she told us to have a good night. Once in the car, I tried calling the Hooters customer service number with no service provided. Evidently Hooters outsources their customer service help desk out of the country. I couldn't understand one word the guy said in the beginning. I provided him with the location of Trussville AL. He couldn't find it in the computer. I spelled it out for him and then he asked me for the address. Shouldn't that have the address of the only Hooters in Trussville. There is only 1. I'm so frustrated right now that I could bite a nail in half. Never done with Hooters of Trussville. Trust me, it won't be a...
