First timers…. We paid $20 to get in around 11:15pm. We were greeted properly, grabbed drinks from the bar that were GREAT & priced reasonably. We did find a table, but most were already reserved. The live music started about 11:30 which I love…. & the lady plus band was ON POINT. They don’t have a kitchen but the FOOD TRUCK out front has wings & fish that was good & fresh… I cannot complain at all! We had an awesome time & met another great couple while hanging out. Being that itbwas new Years eve there should not have reserve spots because the club was soooooo small. Music was great. These ladies let me set with them until there dates came. I thought that was nice

One table is additional 40 with 3 chairs. I use to love this nice hang out spot. But I won't be going back, so many people were standing and just left out. It's ridiculous!!!

Last night my girlfriend and I visited this spot for the first time Sunday night 10/30/22 around 8:30 to 9:00 first time for both of us at this spot. We sat at the bar soon as you walk inside. Their was a lady bartender that never acknowledge we were there, no hello, no I'll be with you guys in a minute or anything, she took care of people around us and the ones that walked in after us, the whole while she was behind the bar she never acknowledged us at all !!! She came from behind the bar to go outside and my girlfriend got her attention trying to order drinks 🍸 this bartender replied she will be back (not in a pleasant voice or smile)and kept going outside. We were there at least 20 minutes at the bar without service. Maybe we picked the wrong time or night to visit this establishment. This bartender never acknowledge we were in the building not a hello or I'll be with you guys in a moment, NOTHING!!! Maybe we picked the wrong night...

I have had a wonderful time at The Plum Bar in the past and couldn't wait to get back, however I don't live in Bham so this is the first chance I've had. I raved about this bar to my sisters and I couldn't be more disgusted!!! We wanted to order food and drinks and couldn't do either because the bartender (lady on 2/26/20 @12:15) wouldn't even make eye contact with us to order anything!!! NOT OK, when you have a customer standing around your bar, you try and take their order, especially when they have said excuse me 5 times....that could've been a $20 tip that you missed out on! I was so disappointed, I definitely won't be in a hurry to return this time. Bartenders should be friendly with...

I went there on March 1st 2024@5:00 pm to buy a mixed slushy drink he was very rude to me and said we don't serve anything like that I said I bought some on my birthday he said never heard of it he didn't want to serve me for some reason and actually escorted me out of the store I didn't do anything but walked in and asked for a drink he lied to me and that was embarrassing I had plenty of money but I just wanted I drink but he never gave me a chance to order so I left and I said to myself that's one of the reasons I don't support Black businesses it's the rudeness but not all never again will I step foot...
