Subway — Restaurant in Birmingham

I wish I could post pictures of how bad the toppings look. I ordered a tuna sandwich on whole wheat. The tomatoes looked as though they were cut 2 weeks ago, the spinach was dry and wilted. The lettuce was brown, the cucumber was dried out. Everything on that line needed to be thrown away and made fresh. When I asked the worker for fresh toppings I was told " that is what we have sorry". Needless to say I did not want to risk my health by eating their obviously out dated food so I left. Came 1 hour before closing and the door was locked, lights on, not an employee in sight. An employee from Papa John's came out and told me she had and another employee there had been trying to get Food for an hour and couldn't get anyone to open the door or answer the phone. They witnessed 6 customers come and leave, unserviced. I witnessed 3 customers myself. I did see the employee come out from the back at one point. She was cleaning up. I am very disappointed. Ordered online. Placed my family’s order online and walked straight out of the door to pick it up. Had to wait for them to come from the back. Customer service was horrible. Person was on the phone the whole time I was there. Looks like they were trying to close the store at 7:30. Got home meat products were ice cold. Wrong veggies and sauces. Just threw all sandwiches in the trash. Whole family was disappointed. I vote to shut it down and put someone there who wants...
