I have been to this bar several times and it has always been a great experience.
But 6/17/22 , we were there celebrating the Bisbee Pride. I ordered my first drinks and left the account open and my credit card at the bar.
I was drinking a little during the night and in total there were approximately 3 beers plus my partner's.
when I asked for my account to be closed at the end of the night. one of the bar tenders tells me "I already gave you the card". His security was so great that I still checked my wallet to see if I had made a mistake, but no, although I had been drinking, I wasn't drunk, and I told him no, that I didn't have my card, and that I needed it, my partner got angry and began to ask for the credit card angry. but the bar tenders and door man had zero tolerance and kindness and kicked him out of the bar. Trying to stay calm and solve MY PROBLEM in the most friendly way, I explained that she had never given me my card because I had not requested the closure of my account. She angry and very sure of herself, she shows me the ticket and says "Look! Here is your signature!" BUT THAT WAS NOT MY SIGNATURE! they had given my credit card to a person I was talking to when ordering a beer!!! The bartender never wanted to apologize or accept that she had made a SERIOUS mistake. In the end, she left the bar, and found the customer who gave her my credit card. and she handed it to me with an attitude as if she was right.
I know that in this business, as in any other, mistakes can happen, but the problem was the way this girl tried to solve a serious problem. she blaming the client or simply claiming that I was to blame for talking to someone else.
But the best thing is to talk to the employees and prevent these customer service problems from happening again ina wonderful...
Read moreI was thinking of not rating them, but I did anyway. This weekend they/you were packed, no denying that, but you were no more ready for this weekend than anything. You were out of most tap beers, stupid, you even were out of pineapple juice, that a bartender coming in for shift could of picked up. I could touch on a few more things, but I will end with service. OMG. !!!!!!, Personalities. None like I've ever seen. Before. They were ok bartenders as to pours, sloppy a little from an owners view, .Up to owners I think, but cost does come into play. But even though you are so busy, your customer service has to shine. This also comes from mgnt., .there were no where near to having enough people to ever give proper service. They should of had at least 3 bartenders on, and two barbacks, barbacks, one could of been clearing the floor. And talking about barbacks for a sec. On Friday night, the Platinum blond need to learn to keep ber mouth shut,. I mean shut, when a bartender and customer service disputes!!!!!!! Now let's get to specifics. The long straight haired Bartender working the evening past six, not sure of name, absolutely lousy in any kind of service to the public at least when their busy. She said there were sides. If thats the case she's robbing other bartender blind. Walks all over her, which frankly she was the best of the two. And another thought, within 35 - 40 minutes, they both had went out for a smoke.. Again, the bar was packed. So, I hope this can be read from a, you can do so much better, especially if you look at last year's monies to know how to order enough product, get more help. Lot of people walked....

This place is a real crusty joint. I went there on a Sunday around 11:00am during the Bisbee Days of Summer. Went inside...first thing that happened was some scummy resident of scummy Bisbee told me I was in his seat next to the gambling machine. Obviously a gambling addict, as is most of the town of Bisbee. Then the crusty hag of a bartender finally approached me with an attitude like she was doing me a favor. She was mad that I didn't have a stamp (apparently the addict biker looking guy at the door with the bright red dyed beard was supposed to check my id and give me a stamp). So she asked to see my id, which I had no problem doing. She asked what I wanted to drink. I said "ummm" as I was looking at the selection and her response was the rudest customer service I have ever received. "I can't wait for ummm" she stated, with a disgusting scowl on her worn out face and she turned her back on me. I promptly left the establishment and will never return.
Do yourself a favor. Do not go to St. Elmos in Bisbee. Try the Stock Exchange or the Bisbee Brewing Company...they appreciate their customers.
I only wish I could give...
