We where waiting for our table at the table restaurant we decided to go get coffee at the Bisbee co.. on our way back my 2 oldest girls wanted candy and rushed to this cute shop the lil followed them before I took her drinking away she spilled some at the entrance I went inside and ask for paper towels to clean it up he gives me a couple and proceeds to follow me he started screaming he should not allow ppl with drinks (and I totally get I apologize and offered to clean it)there was a line to shop and he screaming at me to leave his store. I'm a buisness owner my self and I know I would never treat any of my customers that way (unless I'm in danger ) I know my mistake for not catching my 3 yr old in time but my girls and I didn't deserve this treatment he embarrassed us infront of all the ppl waiting. We will not be supporting this buisness ...
Read moreI'm not a fan of the man who was working behind the counter. He checked on us once in the beginning to see we needed anything, but now I see it was to ensure my son didn't break anything. The next two times, he felt it was appropriate to tell me, "Just make sure he doesn't break anything." I said to me, son, "let's go, he's getting annoyed" loudly. My son touched a fabric wallet, a pair of shorts, and a pair of manikin hands that were already on the ground. If you have a problem with children in your store, there should be a sign posted that they are not allowed in. Ridiculous, and again, he broke nothing, and all the things were returned back to their place before we quickly left. I was fuming. I don't care to ever return and will not be recommending...
Read moreMel's is fantastic! A wonderful proprietor and a Bisbee staple. Hassan is absolutely amazing as well. Local stop for picking up a few important grocery items, even local eggs. The building is historic and true to the era and Mel's fits right in. Lots of tourist souvenirs and shirts and treats and usually pretty busy, but always warm and welcoming and they're always open when...
