Wonderful hotel. Upon arrival, we checked in, brought the luggage up to the room and then parked the car at the parking lot. The check in office (and the hotel) are in a one way street, and there is no parking right in that spot, so you have to drive further down to the parking lot. its a short 2-5 min walk, but its much easier not having to carry stuff. I do wish the parking area was closer but overall it was easy to find. We stayed in the second floor, and the room was super clean, spacious, with comfortable pillows and beds. It had big beautiful windows with views to historic Bisbee. The bathroom was well appointed too, with nice towels, warm water, and all the essentials. The staff was super nice and helpful. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because there is no soundproofing at all, and being that the room is on the corner of a street, many people walk by, and the noise is inevitable. Not sure if other rooms are the same as far as noise goes, but If you stay here, make sure you bring earplugs just in case. Also, if you have never driven to downtown Bisbee before, be aware some streets are very narrow, and parking can be challenging, specially for large vehicles. It is a beautiful town though. Overall we...
Read moreWe only stayed one night at Hotel San Ramon but it was a lovely stay. I had called the hotel a few months earlier to inquire about the various rooms, and the person on the phone was very friendly.||On arrival day the hotel texted me in the afternoon to ask if we would arrive before 6pm, which we couldn't, so they texted over the self-check-in information, along with dinner and breakfast recommendations. ||We were given Room # 2 with 2 double beds. Room #2 is the corner room with big windows opening to 2 sides. Very spacious including a big bathroom. There is a mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig machine. ||Bisbee is very cute and everything is just around the corner. We grabbed dinner at Bisbee Table (recommended by the hotel) which is a 5-min walk. The next day we walked over to Queen Mine tours (also 5 minutes). ||Most (or all?) hotels in Bisbee don't have parking lots, but there is plenty of free street parking.||We didn't get a chance to meet anyone at the hotel due to our late arrival and our next day departure, but we didn't require anything else anyway. Noise may be an issue on weekends or peak tourist season but we didn't notice any noise except for the occasional passerby talking...
Read moreMy family rented 2 rooms at San Ramon over the holiday week-at a premium rate for Bisbee. At first glance it was a lovely establishment and rooms appeared to be clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, we ran into a major issue with NO HOT WATER in either room. Barely warm if we were lucky, but usually cold. The larger of the two rooms we rented had 2 furnaces, one of which did not work-coincidentally the one that heated the bathroom and kitchen. Temps were cold and snowy in Bisbee. Needless to say, it was unpleasant!
To add insult to injury, the same room did not have a working coffee pot.
The front desk was closed until the next afternoon at 3:00, our only option was to leave a voicemail upon checking out. I left a detailed message with our concerns, lack of hot water in 2 rooms, broken furnace, contact info, request for a token discount, etc...I HAVE NOT HEARD A PEEP, that was two weeks ago. They clearly do not value their guests concerns or experiences. A lack of response is unprofessional, I work in customer service and this is unacceptable!
I see other reviews with hot water issues, unreal, this is a 6 room establishment, hot water should not be a concern...
