If I could give this place zero stars, I would! My husband and I ordered pizza from A&B South Saturday night (8/3/13). My husband called at 7:41. The person on the phone pulled up our account by his phone number but couldn’t understand English well. He talked to her for 5 minutes trying to explain our new address. Finally she hands the phone over to someone who can understand English. She repeats the address back and says understands. They tell us it is going to be a 45 minute to hour long wait. We understood that entirely. An hour and a half later we call back since we haven’t received our pizza. No answer! My husband calls back again and Steve, a manager answers. He says they didn’t get our name or address!!!! Joe spent almost TEN MINUTES trying to give it to them (I was sitting right there for all of this) the first time he called! They would have to remake the pizzas get them to us as soon as they can and the best they can do is give us a $10 gift certificate. The manager also told us we should have asked to talk to someone that spoke better English. A half an hour goes by and I call back again as we still haven’t heard anything. The delivery guy has not even left with our pizzas yet!! At this point I’m ready to cancel the order entirely but Steve assured me the delivery guy was walking out the door. I asked if there was someone else I could talk to that was higher than Steve. He said I could call back and talk to Clint, the owner. I called Sunday when Steve said Clint would be in and he wasn’t. Finally reach him today (8/5/13). He was INCREDIBLY rude on the phone. I told him I understood accidents happen and that there would be a long wait on a Saturday – but paying $30 dollars for 2 pizzas that took almost 2 and a half hours to get is a little unreasonable. He said that was all he could do and didn't apologize to me once! I’m sorry, but as the owner – that is NOT all you can do! I asked if that was how little customer service meant to him and he said YES! So I told him I would be sharing the experience with everyone I knew and he said ok. As the owner stated, customer service means very little and I thoguht that should be passed on. From now on we'll be ordering...
Read moreAwful. We called at 10:58 being they opened at 11am to see if we could place a to-go order. A younger girl answered and I asked if we could place an order. She stated sorry we aren't open yet. I said that is fine we will call back shortly. At 11:07 we call back to place an order - the same younger girl answered and when asked if we could place an order she let out a heavy "annoyed" sigh and said sure. I am unsure as to why it seems to be an inconvenience to a pizza place to call and order a pizza? This girl clearly does not enjoy her job and it shows through her terrible customer service.
A&B has always been a favorite. We ordered two pizzas and an order of cheesy breadsticks. First they had messed up our order when we got it and second when we opened the breadsticks I was in shock that an establishment would even want to serve something like this to their customer. It's embarrassing on their part.
With our growing community there are plenty of other pizza places in town that trump A&B but we still supported them since they have been a hometown favorite. BUT not anymore.
Terrible customer service. Awful food. Do...
Read moreThis used to be one of our favorite places to go. We would always order pizza for family get togethers from here instead of other pizza places to keep it local. Recently the service has tanked and the food quality has severely dropped. When the food is made properly it is still good but that is getting to be a toss up.
The last two orders have been the last straw. The delivered pizza showed up smashed. See pictured. When I called to ask for a refund or new pizza I was offered nothing. You could tell a newer younger person was working, who hadn’t been trained very well.
Today I placed an order for pick up to avoid this issue and when I ordered a northern and cheeseburger pizza, I showed up a half hour later, (as instructed) I received a northern and an actual cheeseburger. The pizza was cold. When I asked what happen I got a shoulder shrug but was offered to have the pizza made but it’d be at least a half hour… no discount or anything else offered since I didn’t have time to wait that long…
Very sad the customer service has gone out the window. One less local place that still has that mom...
