As far as the place and amenities very nice. Just want to let everyone know not to give them your credit card. I signed up, went to the gym 4 days a week from 5:45 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. towards the end of me going there, ironically two guys were in the locker room talking about how the management team randomly charges peoples cards after they have quit. Me and another guy both heard this and were like o come on now way! HOWEVER!!! it is nothing but true. March 19th i called in to cancel my membership do to the pandemic. They said they would cancel it and I said OK great! (NOBODY EVER TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO COME IN AND SIGN A PIECE OF PAPER TO "OFFICIALLY" CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP) At this point I am under the interpretation that I have cancelled. Well there lovely employee decided to put a hold on my account, and then just start to charge it come May 1st! Like they did me a favor or something. They didn't do anything for anyone except be sleazeballs. So my fault for not catching the charges May-August. I did catch it in September. I had called and said hey this ins't right, and the guy on the phone said well do you have your pink slip? Now all of a sudden this is when I found about a cancellation letter that i needed to have or provide that I wasn't told about and couldn't even come in if I wanted to because of a damn pandemic!!!! I said no I wasn't told i needed one. and he said well meet Angela here on Tuesday at 12:00, so i take time out of my day come down there and all of a sudden now she is in a "class" well now I have wasted my time, the front desk guy says I will give her a note to call you. That day goes by, the next day at 5:00 comes around and I call back because I haven't received a phone call. I ask for Angela, NOPE she is in another class! of course she is. I told the front desk lady who was super nice, offered to personally talk to her about it and tell her to give me a call. WELL GUESS WHAT HAPPENED- Angela finally called me back. (Whatever you do, don't lose her as a customer representative). So me and Angela went over what I just explained. She says ALL i can do for you is refund Septembers charge!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! I haven't even been there, used any of there services, and cancelled my membership!!! She says that is out of my approval to do any more than that. I can have my finance manager give you a call. OK DO THAT, well from at this point until that conversation has been 48 hours!!! and yep you guessed it no call back. So I call back in today, and the finance manager is only there (from what the front desk lady said) from 4 a.m. or something like that to 6:30 A.M. and that there isn't a manager on duty and all managers are usually gone by 3:00 PM WHO HAS A BUSINESS THAT THERE ISN"T A MANGER AROUND FOR AN ENTIRE SHIFT!!!!
The moral of this story is, I STILL don't have an answer, the communication is not there, and there customer service (minus the front desk lady) is non existent unless your handing them your credit card. Also not to give them your credit card. Remind you all I asked for is for me to be taken care of, which would have been refunding me from May-September and I probably would have just put it back and continued my membership once the COVID stuff has settled down. Now it will just go to another gym. It could have been ALOT different if there management team would have just followed through with the customer that was upset. I am not one to bash anyone online but this...
Read moreHere is what happened to my wife... she was quite upset almost in tears when she returned home, asked her what happened this is her response; I hooked up with verge fitness on facebook via their "free" six week challenge program. As I just started a new job, my health insurance allows me to go to this center to stay fit for a good price. Anyways, they were advertising a free 6 week transformation, so I figured I would give it a try. That way I could just transition to the gym with my insurance after the 6 week program. I could save a little money and get fit. I went in to talk to Brittany. Right from the start she was NOT a nice person. She quickly showed me around and took me into her office where she proceeded to tell me about the 6 week challenge. She then showed me two packages I could do--one was $400 and the other was like $700. I explained my money situation and told her I could only do the free one, but if I liked the facility I would purchase a membership through my insurance. She was a total snot. After that she wanted nothing to do with me. I came in the next day and she referred to me as "the free one", and mentioned that she had forgotten all about me. She gave me a meal sheet and said "good luck" in a condescending tone. She also mentioned I would be getting a text from someone else regarding my progress. I have not heard a thing back about the 6 week challenge program from anyone at the facility. After that experience, I decided I will never go to that gym. I will take my insurance membership through St....
Read moreOn August 31, 2023, I visited the establishment to inquire about signing up for a membership and politely inquired about the new shoe sign. However, the interaction took an unfortunate turn. The staff member perceived my questions as rude despite my intention to be respectful. During our conversation, the employee attempted to persuade me to enroll in an $80 special offer, which diverted from my initial intention of seeking information. I expressed my interest in speaking with the manager, to which he claimed to be both the supervisor and owner. The individual in question had blonde hair. It became apparent that there were miscommunications and assumptions made, particularly regarding my membership preference, which I had intended to be a $10 option. I am inclined to address this matter with the manager during our scheduled conversation tomorrow, which I did not get due to earlier problems. Furthermore, I am considering reporting the incident to the Better Business Bureau due to the concerns raised during the interaction.
I am a disabled person, and I believe this interaction was ableist, discriminated against me for disabilities and was unnecessarily hostile and threatening me to leave for not...
