Went to bring my daughter for breakfast and our experience was not a very good one. I ordered the “create your own omelette” with pepper jack cheese and the eggs came out gray in color, with the veggies on top and not inside the omelette. It didn’t even look appetizing. I told our waitress that’s not how I ordered it, she apologized and brought it back. Who ever the cook was is very inexperienced. The waitress brings it back to the cook He put the old omelette inside of some new egg omelette covering with shredded marble cheese on top, not even melted. It looked bigger than normal so I dissected it and that’s when I noticed he added the old omelette inside. I told the waitress who lied to me and said she seen him throw it away. I am also a cook and know better. I ordered wheat toast, she came out with half cut multigrain toast that looked like it was used for a sandwich with avocado, or something, something, something - a used (half toasted multigrain bread). I asked for crispy bacon, it came out half cooked. Also, my daughter orders their valentines strawberry pancakes with two over hard eggs. The pancakes came out sloppy, no cream cheese on top just the whipped topping. The waitress even noticed that the pancakes were missing the cream cheese topping, she brings it to the cook and the cook said it was on top of the pancakes. Confused, I asked where on the pancake is the cream cheese. My daughter moves the whipped topping on the pancake and a very small bit of cream cheese (hidden under the whipped topping). It was so small you couldn’t even see the small portion. Then her eggs came out over soft. I have been to iHops twice and have had the best experience. This time was a huge...
Read moreI was there for the grand opening, and service and food was spot on. Unfortunately, I have seen a rapid decline in the quality of food. On my 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th visits, I had to send my food back. I ordered sunny side up eggs, and the whites were completely clear and looked like snot on 2 occasions. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet and the ham was burnt and black. I ordered over easy eggs that were over hard with no runny yolks. I ordered hash browns that were burnt and blackened on one side and raw on the other side. I received a salad with very old and probably expired lettuce that turned an orangish red on the white part of the lettuce, and no green lettuce. It was gross and should not have been served. There is more, but that is enough. You definitely need to learn to cook eggs to order correctly. The servers were all very friendly. You have one server that 3 times in a row didn't charge me for coffee and juice when I ordered from the $6 menu. I think because she figures that I will tip the price of the coffee which I did, but probably not great for your bottom line. Other than that, I like the coffee much better than the competition around here. It could a tad stronger. In the beginning, I couldn't wait to return for a meal. Now, I am reluctant to return after the rapid decline in food quality, which is disappointing, because I hate Krolls, especially...
Read moreFrom the time we stepped inside to receiving our food it was exactly 1 hour. It wasn’t busy, only 1/4 of the tables had customers. We had to go to the front desk after waiting 15 minutes because we never got a waiter assigned to us after being seated. We watched as other customers be seated, place their orders, receive their food, eat, and pay their bill before we received the of our entrees. The two appetizers we ordered came out with our entrees. We had to flag down another tables waitress to request refills (20+ minutes without our waitress checking on our table if we needed anything). Kids drinks didn’t have lids - claimed they were all out. Kids didn’t get menus - claimed they were all out. Kids didn’t get crayons and paper to keep themselves occupied - waitress completely forgot to give us them after we had asked.
Food was okay.
This location doesn’t do the kids eat free promotion most other ihop do, it just isn’t an affordable option for dining out for families with children.
This was our second experience at this ihop. Both times sucked. At least the first time a manager asked us how we were doing and gave us a free appetizer because we were waiting almost 2 hours without receiving food.
Maybe we are just really unlucky or they hate serving families with young kids, who knows, but we won’t be back...
