Brought my three grandsons there with a coupon so I was shocked when the guy told me I owed him $84. I didn’t realize the socks were extra but I accepted the fact that I just paid $12 for three pairs of socks and paid the fee. I checked my receipt and found three $3 charges and asked the owner what that was for. He said it was early jump fee. The next session didn’t start until 1:30 and it was 1:16 so I said the boys could wait and I wanted a refund of that $9. I said they really should tell the customers what they are paying for before they ask for payment. Instead of simply apologizing and giving me the refund, he insisted that I had been told (he wasn’t there) and said maybe I’d like to get a refund for the whole bill. I was taken aback by his attitude but said I wasn’t going to tell my grandkids they wouldn’t get to jump after all and asked only for the $9 back. Owner responds with “maybe I should fire him then…” referring to the kid who rang us up. I told him that wasn’t at all what I was saying, I just wish I had known beforehand about the $3 early jump fee. The owner insisted the kid “ALWAYS 100%” tells people this - I said that he forgot this time, it happens. He said again that he should fire him then, went on to say that out of “a million times, he just forgot to tell one person” and that one was me. He asked the kid “did you tell her about early jump fee?” and of course, he said “yes.” I fully admit that by now, I gave that owner the fight he was asking for. I told him that now I do want full refund, except for the socks because the boys had already put them on, because he was rude, disrespectful and insisted I was a liar. While the kid was processing the refund, he continued to harass me and belittle me. I argued back with a lot of bad words and I feel really about that since it is a “family” place. After my refund was processed, the boys and I were marching toward the door, he hollered at us to “hurry up and get the hell out of here.”
I regret matching his energy and I apologize to the other customers who witnessed it. But that guy obviously has no respect for anyone. His smug attitude and immediate escalation of the situation is the reason why we took that $84 and spent it at the Pizza Ranch. where we had lunch and they played in the arcade for a couple...
Read moreHad a large children's party there. We invited my son's whole class plus a few extra people. It was not very organized. I didn't know what was going on as far as check in for guests. Staff told parents to just leave their kids and they would escort them to party room. So i didnt get to meet all the parents. Some weren't getting socks at check in. I don't know what happened to all the socks I paid for when several of the children came with socks already. No extras were given to me. My son didn't get the t-shirt that was supposed to come with the party. I think the worst thing though was 2 children were checked into my party that were for another party and though the sticker was corrected, they were still in the computer for our party. When we were trying to get a head count at cake time to make sure everyone was there, the names we had from check in didn't match the kids we had. I hadn't meet everyone and thought I had lost 2 children. It seemed like the staff was more concerned with keeping the party on time than missing children. The one young man who was initially helping me was getting flak from others for not being on task. I finally broke down because in my opinion, if we believe a child is missing, everything stops until the child is located. I did not feel that their main concern was locating possibly missing children. The two children were finally located at the party...
Read moreMy family and just visited the bismarck sky zone and had an extremely unpleasant experience and will likely not be back again after this. We payed for all the fees and then due to being a retired military member nicely asked the man working if there was a military discount. The worker told us there was a $5 discount per jumper but since we had not done our entrance waivers yet we left the front counter to do them. When we came back a worker/manager named Imani was assisting us. We once again prepared to pay and ask3d again about your military discount. This time he gave us a totally different answer stating there is no discount but rather a free 30 min voucher for the next visit. We are passing through and will not be coming back so we would bot be able to redeem this in the future. I explained that we were just told there was a discount 2 mins prior and he responded there isn't one. I was confused and a bit irritated by this as mins before it was told we would get one. I told the manager that it is normal practice for a business to follow through with what their advertising or workers promise to the customer. He laughed and said that he doesn't have to do that. It was very insulting and frankly a bad look for your business. I look forward to hearing back about this unpleasant visit and will leave a review about NY experience on...
