I had heard about it, I saw the first one being built in Sand Springs and drove by countless times, but it wasn’t until now back in Tulsa, out of no where, I just wanted to go ahead and have a taste of the Dutch Bros! At first I couldn’t see the entrance to the drive thru so I had to turn around in the front parking lot. Then I realize they do not have a lobby. So I found the entrance and proceeded.
There are two lines and there are a couple of the menus on each side for drivers to start making choices before getting to the person taking your order. I stared at it for sometime but I am simply not very good with the barista lingo so I trusted my gut and moved forward and simply asked the girl what she would suggest given that I love coffee and she recommended me a Flap Jack Mocha. I thought about it for a second and simply agreed to her choice. 5$ bucks plus a 1 dollar tip for her suggestion and good attitude towards an unlettered person like me.
My coffee was ready in no time and I was met again with a smile from the guy at the window. In less than fine minutes I was already sipping on this awesome Flap Jack Mocha.
For the experience and the good quality I guess it was worth it, but not for me on a daily basis. I am of simple taste and a black coffee as it is is more than enough to keep me happy every morning. But I do believe that every once in a while a change of taste is worth the investment.
Thank you for the experience and awesome...
Read moreI really enjoy your variety of coffees- they're so delicious! And the service is generally really good for the most part (everyone has bad days). My issue is how terrible the lines are. And how terrible everyone IN the lines are. When you have only one line open, some people don't realize that and will use the second line to cut in front. And people don't know when they're next in line, so you'll find some people won't zipper into the single lane, and people will go two-three at a time instead. How angry everyone gets in these lines is DREADFUL! And even though the coffee is great, I haven't returned since winter 2023 because of how mean everyone is in these lanes. Sadly you need to keep a person at the zipper spot to help reduce the road rage in these lanes. People are just too cranky to wait for their coffee where they'll force you out of the way. Or better yet, remove the zipper part entirely and have two lanes entirely.
One last problem with atmosphere, there's no place to enjoy your coffee in or out of Dutch Bros! I thought I saw a window to order in person, but when I waited there for 10 minutes, I was completely ignored. Maybe it wasn't an order window? It sure looks like it. But regardless, it would be nice to have a place to sit down and...
Read moreI enjoy having a dutch treat & this location is the closest to me which is why I have given it a chance over and over. I’ve had several interactions over the course of the year. Some customer ooze of entitlement (not the company’s / staffs fault) and it has caused challenges for me while waiting for my coffee. Recently, on dutch sticker drops I feel like i have to beg in order to get a sticker even tho its the promotion! I tend to have to explain on like the gift card one which is up to the company to inform and communicate with their employees. There seems to be a disconnect from that at this location and management should improve communication channels. however, I am met with attitude a times and overall not ever happy with my customer experience here. I have encountered a few negative conversations about pervious customers while i’m at the window - I’ve worked fast food service before and UNDERSTAND the frustration, however professionalism must be maintained unless is harmful/abusive behavior. I will be continue to be a customer just at a different location where I feel valued...
