Hideaway Pizza — Restaurant in Bixby

We visited here on a rainy day and it was perfect.

The pizza came out and was hot and cheesy! We got 2 pizzas and fried mushrooms.

The fried mushrooms were a bit bland. Not a whole lot going on there. The mushroom itself was big and tasty but the fried outer crush was meh. It could use some pizazz.

We got 2 hand tossed pizzas, one was a normal pepperoni pizza with the red sauce and the other was a pepperoni and pineapple with the olive oil + garlic sauce. Both pizzas were really good. I have no complaints other than both pizzas didn’t fit on our table (they were big pizzas!). I would order both of these again, no problem.

The reason for the 4 stars? The restaurant ambiance was good and not too loud. It was the cleanliness that was the problem. Everything felt greasy. The floors, the table, the bathroom door and handle. It was just slippery and kind of gross. It wasn’t over bearing but it was enough to go.. ew. Otherwise, I would have given this a 5 star review.

Our waiter was a very nice young man and checked up on us and made sure we were doing good.

At the end, our receipt had a pay by phone option which was epic. I wish more restaurants had...

Same old story, great food! Very bad service! This is the third time I've complained in the past three months but they don't seem to care, just went there with the family last night for dinner and it was just more of the same bad service. The waiter dropped the food and never came back so I had to get up twice to ask for drink refills and only then she brought me a new drink but walked off while my wife's tea was empty! Then walked past two more times totally blind to the fact So I get up again to go ask for refills, she was just standing up front talking to three others that were not doing there job either, she brought the drink and only came back to get paid, at one point we did ask a passing so called trainer for help but that was a joke! We were there yesterday. We waited almost one hour (55mins) for a large pepperoni pizza. A table that got there before us like 15 mins later got their food first and even finished before we got ours. They too only got a pepperoni pizza too? Waitress just kept telling us she didn’t know why they were taking so long on our specific ticket, it was just a pepperoni pizza? Anyways, we got our food and shortly a table of 8 who had gotten there maybe 30 mins after us also received their 4 pizzas. I honestly believe she forgot to put our ticket in or something until she realized it but never mentioned it to us. The pizza was good, keep in mind if you get pepperoni though it’s going to be very greasy. Other than that it was good. The wait was just crazy, people who arrived after us left before us.
