Went for Thanksgiving dinner, and ordered the prime rib dinner. I asked a waitress before hand is the prime rib dinner good, filling, and a lot of food because I was hungry,..AND ITS THANKSGIVING,,and she assured me that it was..(LIES!!)..It came with a side salad that clearly was made before hand because the lettuce was pressed down, and flat to the plate from saran wrap and being stacked with other salads, and day before "freshly" made.., the lettuce is cut into shreds and ready for the taco bar🙄with transparent cucumber slices and tiny cherry tomatoes. Then I got my prime rib dinner...oh boy.. I ordered mashed potatoes and green beans for my sides, and it comes with a roll..so.. the green beans are from a frozen bag..they gave a tiny amount that had ZERO seasoning ZERO flavor ZERO effort into preparing them..the mashed potatoes are scooped with a ice cream scoop onto the plate and the brown gravy covers it and you can't see the potatoes.. again small amount of potatoes🤬,,..the roll is from a bag and heated in a microwave with everything else they serve. The prime rib was ok..but not very big. I was still hungry after the baby portions they served me. The restaurant is dim lit and FULL OF OLD PEOPLE 👴👵🧓..omg I thought I was in a haunted retirement home. I think they cater to the elderly SO MUCH that they forgot they are a restaurant.. because the way the food is, looks, tastes, says a lot. Nothing they serve is from a chef..it's all frozen and heated up. They need to step it up because the disappointment I felt was overwhelming and the food was underwhelming. I almost feel like they don't bring in enough revenue to serve fresh CHEF MADE food and are barely getting by..so they probably have some dude wearing a bandana working in the kitchen that smells like cigarettes wiping his nose with his apron making the food🤮 cause that's the type food they serve..don't get the fish fry...it was frozen also 🥶..oh but the elderly love it saying they don't have taste...
Read moreI have no clue why people have rated this place so high! It literally is one of the saddest restaurants as far as ambiance. Upon entry, the carpet alone made me want to follow Lucille herself right off the second story balcony (will get to that at the end). Looking around the place at the customers, I felt like I was at a 1970 church revival. The menu was expansive, and the special was a $12.99 prime rib with two sides. I decided to go for it even though a prime rib should never be under $20-30 in my opinion or I will assume something is severely wrong with it. My friends reminded me it's a casino so they are trying to draw people in with cheap prices. Fair point. Speaking of friends they got the surf n turf and the hamburger. Listen. The prime rib was actually slightly better than the cheap price. My friends said the burger was "fine" and the surf n turf was "below average".
Server was super nice and apologetic for the few things that he forgot and we had to remind him to grab for us. We took a piece of cheesecake for the road. As we were leaving, I asked my friends who Lucille Malone was I wonder, and the lady checking us out had the story. Lucille threw herself off the balcony after her man got run over by a wagon and died. And the lady let us go to the balcony where this happened! Lucille, honey, no man is worth jumping off this balcony for ... but that carpet ... oof maybe that's why she jumped. I'm basically giving this place two stars for the history alone!
Oh, and the cheesecake when we go back home? Ugh no. Not good.
Don't check it...

The service was the worsted, as we waited for the food to come the waiter never come back to check on us, never refilled the coffee. When receiving our food, that is when the waiter ask if we need anything, I had to ask for the shrimp my husband had ordered extra with his meal, and refill on coffee my husbands order had a salad that we didn’t receive until, I had to ask for it after We received our food. Waiter never came back to ask how everything was. We had ordered the lobster and steak the lobster was overcooked. When talking with waiter about the lobster, he said I will get a manager, he never tried to take care of the problem by asking at that time for a replacement. Talked with the manger, which was not very friendly, she asked if we wanted new lobster, but by the time the manger came over we was finishing up. So we said no. Went to pay they never took the lobsters off the order. I was a waitress am my husband was a cook so we know how the business runs and I know about being shorthanded but the service and the food was the worst. Can’t believe, how a restaurant was so good service and food, went down to being so...
