2941 Mediterranean Street Food - Bloomfield Hills — Restaurant in Bloomfield Township

Because of my job, I have probably eaten at over 200 different restaurants in the past year. There is not a better meal for under $14 anywhere. If I could eat only one thing for the rest of my entire life, it would be here. (Of course it helps that they have an enormous amount of possible combinations) I live 20 miles away from the closest location and I still manage to eat here at least twice a week. If it's your first time, order this: (honest bowl to go, half rice half wheat, with chicken, with chili tahini and garlic sauce, with the yellow pickled vegetables, and then make sure to get the chunky salad with the chick peas in it, plus anything else that looks good, you get to pick 2 of each but make sure you pick these as 1) You'll get basically 2 full meals of pure amazingness and you will feel good after eating it. SAY YES TO THE BREAD! It comes with it! It's fresh baked and warm! Another amazing thing about this place is that they carry kombucha and at some locations multiple kinds. Update August 2025 Street Food still one of our favorite restaurants. The taste, value and service is really a benchmark for fast food or fast casual. Very healthy selections with fresh ingredients and I pretty sure homemade sauces. The staff always helpful and no attitude like at many fast food restaurants. Always enjoy this place for Mediterranean.

Update 10/31/23 Received immediate and positive feedback regarding this. I trust that they are making the needed corrections.

Update 10/26/23 Unfortunately had an unsanitary incident. Found a press-on nail in my food yesterday. I hope they respond here with how they’re going to address. I’m not here to take down one of our favorite take out spots, but this should be out there. Disappointed because this is one of our favorites.

—- Have gotten take out multiple times. They are our favorite local joint. Great healthy food and great service! Always very helpful and diligent. Which is a testament to their work ethic during the pandemic. Just what fast food should be.

UPDATE 12/8/18 This place is clearly going down hill. Or, at least this location is. Walked in and saw an employee on his phone while wearing gloves in the food prep area... Ew!!!! Which, i did take pictures of, see attached. Did you know your phone has more bacteria and germs than a toilet seat? Gross. Gross. Gross. Cross contamination, and as well as their elimination of the student discount. I'm also pretty sure i found some meat in my vegetarian dish, a large chunk of something brownish and I had arook made separate and was brought out separately since it takes more time to cook, so you tell me what that was... Gross. Won’t be back to this location, extremely sad and disappointed as it’s the closest location to me, so I guess I won't be back to this restaurant chain for a while.
