Literally just had the WORST drive thru customer service experience this morning at the Tim Hortons in Bloomfield Twp at Telegraph. The awful woman who claims she is a manager is named Wafa. Despicable person, should not be working.
I ordered donuts and a bagel at 6:20am from the Tim Hortons App. At 6:50am I turned up at the drive thru to pick up (specified on my order), no order ready. They hand me a random coffee. I tell them that's not my order. Now this is the second time I've given them my order number. Then they "scold" me for just placing a mobile order and turning up with "no notice". I tell them I made it 30 minutes ago. They ask twice more for my order number. Then they change their story to tell me I needed to give them more time as it takes a long time to prepare. I ask "for 6 donuts and a bagel?" Then they tell me I needed to make my order earlier. I again tell them I made it at 6:20am. They've had over 30 minutes. Then they tell me to park and come in and I said no I have children in the car and have to get them to school. Now three of them are at the window angry. Apparently I'm the villain for not giving them an hour to box 6 donuts. I'm still in my car calmly waiting while they are huffing and puffing that I won't park and come in. They then start yelling at me that I'm holding up the line. So I remind them I made my order thirty prior I'm only holding up the line because they didn't have my order ready.
Then I watch them literally throw my orders together in a bag and throw it at me through the window yelling and waving their arms all mad at ME. By now I'm annoyed, I don't think it gives people the right to yell at a customer for their own incompetence. I have done nothing but place my prepaid order and turn up thirty minutes later to retrieve it as ordered at the drive thru window. I ask them the woman's name (wafa- older woman) and I asked where the manager was and she declares she is (pathetic example of management). She starts yelling again "make sure when you complain you tell them you made the mistake not us." (I'm like huh???? ) then again more yelling at me that I'm holding up their line and they slam the window closed.
I'm absolutely shocked. I want to complain higher but what is better is letting the community know that people can't treat people like this. And in front of my kids.

Read moreI will never go back to any Tim Horton again. On my birthday I went to get a iced coffee and they forgot my straw. So I had to look at my coffee the entire 30 min drive to work as if I would have taken the lid off I am sure I would have had it all over. I am passionate about this and here is the reason why for all of you thinking WOW! I have worked in the service industry my entire life and all places hound you about the little things. Well it really is; as I give this speech all the time and tell my team that you could loose a customer over the smallest of things. That customers have many places to choose to spend their money just as they do. At the end of the day you would want the same thing. I also know that we are abused by customers everyday that are just plain nasty and are teaching that behavior down, yes, yes I do. At the end of my day I don't sweat the small stuff I am not angry about my straw I was more disappointed that on my birthday which I had to go to work anyways I was not given a straw. Tim Horton lost a customer that day. I now go to Bigby down the road. I hope you can use this more as a learning tool. I hope you understand this is not to bash you but hoping that if it helps one young adult/adult out there go, no reason to get mad and go crazy. No reason to come in all hot and start screaming over something so small or try to jump the counter or any of the other horrible behavior that people think is ok. I hope that they decide the best way to make a point is not to come back. There are many other places to choose from. Your health is more important. Breathe...
Read moreThe worst. And I do mean THE WORST. Never. Ever. Have I witnessed such an unorganized, store. The owners obviously just don't care AT ALL about service because THEY THINK..... THINK being the key word, that because of location that they are never in danger of having to lose enough business to go under . Wow. Owners pay attention, EVERYONE in the area is done with the attitudes of your employees.. I use the term "employees" VERY LOOSELY. As a stay at home mom of four teenagers. Who was a bar /restaurant manager for years! Get someone.... anyone! That is willing to hold the employees ACCOUNTABLE.... Now..... . I live in the area and EVERYONE is done with the laziness and attitudes of the current employees. Within a week, with the correct leader, that place could and would run as smoothly as it should. Easily. You have Einstein, new Starbucks etc way too close by to just let your business die. Because it will. It's horrible. You have prime location (most important part of a business in order to have success) DON'T WASTE IT! So many easy fixes that could have your customers in and out quickly, efficiently and with A MUCH BETTER ATTITUDE FROM EMPLOYEES. Which make for happy customers . Happy customers return. That's what you want, right ?it doesn't seem like it. Hold your employees accountable. Have A LEADER there at ALL TIMES. I'm free in the mornings.. lol... That's surely when you...
