I visited this location on a Friday evening looking to watch some basketball after walking out of the most depressing BWW I think I’ve ever seen. The place was clean and the bar was empty, which was enough for me at that point. Ordered a Blue Moon while browsing the menu and watching the game. Decided to try the sriracha chicken bite to snack on. When they came out they definitely didn’t look like the picture (which I referenced multiple times while eating them because I was quite perplexed) and basically amounted to chicken nuggets with a little sriracha drizzled over them. Kind of bland and boring and absolutely no visual appeal while on the plate. Halftime hit and I figured I should order an entree to get me through the rest of the game and decided to be a bit reserved after the chicken bites. Went with the bloomin burger which looked like a traditional Big Mac style burger with bloomin onion pieces on top. Apparently I was a bit too ambitious. The burger game out looking wet, which I quickly realized was grease dripping from it. It was very messy so I cut it in half to better manage picking it up which allowed me to see that the patty was clearly not cooked to medium, and the bloomin onion pieces were clearly just huge chunks of raw onion with undercooked bloomin onion batter barely covering them. I took one bite, got a mouthful of raw onion, cucumber (which I find disgusting) and an overwhelming taste of Worcestershire sauce. The burger was supposed to come with spicy pickles (which I admittedly forgot to ask to have left off) but there were clearly 3 fairly fresh cucumber slices substituting for the pickles. Upon dissecting my burger to try to make it edible I discovered that the bottom bun had a nice grayish ring and realized that it had been sitting in Worcestershire sauce. I managed to eat one half of the burger after wiping off the onion, cucumber, and removing the bottom bun, but the first half left no motivation to attempt the second half. Even just the beef patty was too greasy and depressing to eat by itself. I managed to finish the fries that were drowned in grease because I was hungry, not because they were...
Read moreA disappointing experience.
I recently dined at Outback Steakhouse with high hopes for a satisfying meal and a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular establishment fell short of my expectations, largely due to the unprofessional behavior of our waitress.
From the moment we were seated, it was evident that something was amiss. As we were ordering our drinks, our waitress accidentally spilled my beverage all over me. While accidents happen, her response was far from apologetic. Instead of offering a sincere apology and making amends, she inexplicably attempted to recreate the incident as a joke. To my dismay, she repeated the spill, causing me further inconvenience and discomfort.
Understandably, the blooming onion we ordered was comped as a gesture of goodwill. However, this small act of compensation did little to salvage the overall experience. The waitress's lack of professionalism and her seemingly intentional actions overshadowed any positive aspects of the dining experience.
Had the waitress simply spilled the drink and shown genuine remorse, I would have been more forgiving. Mistakes happen, and it's how they are handled that truly matters. However, her inappropriate attempt at humor by recreating the spill left a sour taste in my mouth and detracted from what could have been an enjoyable evening.
In addition to the disappointing service, the overall ambiance of the restaurant did not live up to the Outback Steakhouse brand. The noise level was excessively high, making it difficult to hold a conversation, and the cleanliness of the dining area left something to be desired.
While I understand that one poor experience does not necessarily reflect the quality of an entire restaurant chain, I cannot in good conscience recommend this particular Outback Steakhouse location based on my encounter. The lack of professionalism and the unsatisfactory dining environment left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated.
I hope that Outback Steakhouse takes this review as an opportunity for improvement and emphasizes the importance of customer service and consistency across all their...
Read moreI figured I would write this, while I'm re-cooking the food I just picked up from this place, because the baked potato was the only item that had any semblance of heat left. Wanna know why it's cold? Probably because I was made to wait an extra 30 min, for no reason, even though my food was already done. (the tag for my bag was printed 3 minutes before my scheduled pickup, so that's where I make the assumption it was ready the whole time) When I showed up, there was a long line outside that was not moving, and since I had received the text that my order was ready, I figured it would be easier for everyone involved if I just went inside to pick it up. When I went inside and spoke to the hostess, she just told me to go back outside and get in line, which was roughly 20 cars deep. It was not busy inside, but she didn't ask anything about my order, or even attempt to see if it was ready, she just told me to go wait. Due to this, my food had to sit for another half hour. I got to waste my time, AND get cold food, but they somehow got all of my money. I won't make the mistake of giving them another cent ever again. I rarely complain about this stuff, as I am also in customer service and I know it was a busy day, so on some level, I get it, but when I was right there ready to pick up the order, and the food was ready, this was just laziness, and a poorly managed situation. I actually feel robbed. If I was going to have to cook my own meal, I could have bought these items much cheaper at the grocery store.
Oh... And the kicker...the sauce container for the Bloomin Onion sauce wasn't sealed, and was just thrown in the bag; so in addition to cooking my meal, I had to clean it too.
Texas Roadhouse is across the street. More food for your money, better food for your money, your food will be warm, and more friendly service. I usually go there, but decided to try Outback to switch things up a bit. Won't make that...
