Mattress Firm Bloomingdale — Hotel in Bloomingdale

We've been looking to switch from an innerspring to a foam mattress for some time. After tons of research, and ruling out bed-in-a-box type mattresses (not sturdy enough), we needed to find a foam mattress that was not too hot and had a plush top (which ruled out Tempurpedic). We spent an entire weekend driving around to mattress stores laying on beds. So the minute we tried the Dream Bed Lux at Mattress Firm (their house brand) at our local Bloomingdale, IL store on Army Trail we were hooked. And usually we avoid sales people when we're shopping for bigger items (cars, beds, etc) but in this case, John and Kim at the Army Trail store in Bloomingdale were very helpful (and I don't say that lightly about most sales people, either). We didn't feel hounded, and we really had a great time with them. They had helpful tips about picking the right bed, honest feedback on pros and cons, the service was really great. Because of promotions, we decided on no-interest financing which was also really easily done – also very pain-free. Our bed was delivered yesterday and the delivery was great. Email and phone call reminders the day before, and a 15 minute email and phone notice when they were about to deliver. The guys were in and out in a few minutes, taking care to protect our carpet and walls. Making such a big purchase, it's always nerve-wracking, but from end to end our experience with the products and teams at Mattress Firm has been great! I just pray we continue to love our new bed lol so we don't need to mattress shop for another decade. So far, so good. Oh, and the DreamBed Lux was comfortable our first night, so knowing it will get a bit more plush after breaking in 30 days, we're delighted with...

I have a positive experience at Mattress Firm. Jenn, the store manager who assisted me, was knowledgeable regarding the benefits of each mattress. I’m a physical therapist and her knowledge of proper spinal positioning and usage of adjustable bed frames and pillows to facilitate neutral spinal alignments was accurate. Much of what she told me about proper positioning before I disclosed my profession is information I share with my patients who experience neck pain, shoulder pain. back pain, and hip pain associated with sleeping. She listened to what I was looking for and directed me to 4 different mattresses that for the most part fit my stated price range and absolutely for my sleep position preferences. I did not purchase an adjustable frame and she was not pushy in attempting to sell me one. She asked me to humor her once and explore an adjustable frame which was quite nice and I may at another time return to her location in Bloomingdale and consider purchasing an adjustable frame if need arises. Her store was clean and well organized. Before I put my head on any of the in-store pillows she mentioned that they are sanitized after being used for trial. I have 3 friends looking for mattresses and I will refer all three to Jenns’ Mattress Firm location in Bloomingdale because she provided excellent education regarding the products she sells and included appropriate education regarding spinal alignment for pain mitigation and comfort.

It was the first time my girlfriend and I had ever bought a mattress [of our own], and she thought that it would be a good idea to check out Mattress Firm right here in Bloomingdale. We had an appointment with John. He showed us all types of mattresses ranging from the expensive ones to the less expensive ones. We really liked that he didn't just stick with the expensive ones, but instead focused more on the mattress type (firm, plush, hybrid, etc.). We wanted a mattress that was not only comfortable, but that also catered to good posture. He pointed us in the right direction. We made it clear that we weren't looking to break the bank with this mattress, and so John made sure to accommodate us in that area. John was also joined with Michael. He was great too. They both were very informative and knowledgeable about all the different mattresses we looked at as well as answering every one of our questions whether I thought it was a dumb question or not. For first time mattress buyers, we were more than satisfied. When it was all said and done...he went above and beyond. We definitely found the store that we'll be buying mattresses from in the future....
