If I could give this less than 1 star, I would.

We arrived at 7:15pm, they took our order right after, brought our drinks out and then we never saw our waitress again. Ended up waiting almost an hour for our food (brisket platters) and when we got them, everything was cold. When you tasted it, it seemed like it had just been sitting there for a while. The meat was thick sliced deli style meat and tasted like it was frozen and then microwaved. It was super tough, absolutely flavorless, and all they give you is a butter knife to cut it with (I would have needed a freshly sharpened steak knife for that). Fries were cold, Mac and cheese was cold, bread was okay at best. Im still just so confused as to why it took 45 -50 minutes to get cold food?? We came in with almost 2 hours before closing, but seemed like they checked out for the day. Started cleaning up the place all around us aggressively before we even got our food. Kinda makes you feel rushed, especially when you’ve been waiting.

I am really not sure how anyone rated this 5 stars. The people that did most likely have never had properly seasoned/properly cooked food. Overall just very disappointed. For $50 you REALLY would have expected more. We drove over an hour to dine here and it was terrible all around.

The aroma outside was deceiving. This was a disappointing visit. We both had the pork and beef and our experience was identical: dry bland meat. Some of the meat was such the even cutting it with the dull knife was harder than it should have been. The meat just felt old and over cooked. The sides were unremarkable too. Bland watery corn, mediocre beans, etc. We truthfully joked that the best thing on our plates was the garlic toast. I would have loved to use the garlic toast to sop up everything at the bottom of the plate, but the plate was essentially dry.

Speaking of knives, one of them still had dried crust on it that must not have come off in the washing process. On the general topic of cleanliness, everything seemed to have a sticky feel, from the crumb covered benches, table, sauce bottles (one of which was clogged), bathroom door, etc. The Ketchup bottle even had dried sauce still on it.

The saving grace that kept me from rating a one star is that we had good service. Jen was prompt, courteous, and polite the whole time.

We received an item we didn't order and we were missing one of our sides for the family of 4 feast. We went back to retrieve our side. It was a personal size side instead of the large family of 4 side. We asked for plates and silverware as we are from out of town staying at a neighboring hotel. We were given 2 plates, and 2 sets of silverware. No napkins and no wet naps were given for BBQ food. I paid almost $100 for this dinner that were eating using butter knives!! We asked for more and were told there wasn't anymore. The corn was plain and bland from a can and the green beans were the same. The only thing my family enjoyed were the tough but flavorful ribs, tiny scoop of potatoe salad, and the BBQ beans. After traveling for 7 hours today and starving to say thr least I am livid at what poor customer service, price, and flavor this place delivered.
