This location is probably consistently the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. It is also probably the most-staffed Starbucks I have ever been to. Peculiar?! I'm not ever there during the morning time either. I typically visit late afternoon/early evening...like I did yesterday. I also typically only visit when I'm stopping at the thrift store next door...which I also did yesterday. There were only two customers in front of me but, at least seven waiting for their orders at the other end of the counter. Besides the cashier, there were two other employees who were crafting beverages. This location never seems to be understaffed. That's a good thing! The person at the counter was indifferent when I said 'Hello!'. [I wasn't actually greeted...just sort of looked at until I started placing my order.] Service has always been a gamble here though so, it's kind of expected. I ordered two basic Frappucinos...nothing extra/fancy about them. While we waited for our order, I noticed how dirty the store looked. The tables were smudged with grime from previous customers, several straw wrappers on the floor and the drink pick-up counter was wet/sticky. It's not a very big restaurant, should be easy enough to wipe down/pick up on occasion. There is a decent amount of seating and they do put tables on the sidewalk in the nicer months, as well. There appears to be plenty of outlets for charging devices nearby the indoor seating. The group of people at the end of the counter slowly started being served and leaving. It took a little over ten minutes to get our two drinks, with one coming out about three minutes before the other?! The Frappucinos were perfectly blended and tasted wonderful. Honestly, I have never had a 'bad' beverage here so, that's where the three stars come in. This is a critical part of the entire experience, afterall. Sidenote regarding the parking lot: [this aspect did not factor into the overall review rating whatsoever...just a heads up.] it is dan-ger-ous! It's a shared lot with a bank/large strip mall. The way people drive/park is insane. Someone leaving Starbucks always almost backs up right into me while pulling out of their parking spot. Read moreI have generally had good experiences at most Starbucks locations. I have gone three times to this location, however, and all have been substandard. In the morning they always seem to be quite busy. So they clearly don’t need my business. That’s good, because I will in the future drive further for a nicer store. It seems like a simple thing, but placing an order with a drink (like a hot chocolate) and something to eat (like a Danish) is just harder to do than it needs to be. The drink and the food are never delivered to the counter takeout spot or announced together (sometimes within 5 minutes of each other) and then the only way you know they’re ready is to stand by the counter and inspect every delivery each time a new one arrives. I tried to sit at a table less than 10 feet from the counter, but the music is loud and the name callout (“Jim”) is so soft that it’s impossible to hear the counter person’s voice over the music. Either a lower music level or louder deliverer voices would solve this easily. But three straight times in two weeks it was the same. Trying to help, I mentioned that to one of the counter people. The response was a cynical eye roll and a snide “Whatever…” from the grumpy barista. I only tried this once and will not again. Read moreFirst, let me start by saying that I never write google reviews, but I am beyond frustrated with this store! The past 3 times I have gone here I have had issues. The first time, they forgot to make my drink. The second time I placed a mobile order and they made my drink, but not my sister's drink (which were the exact same drinks, iced cold foam cappuccino). It wasn't even busy when I went at 3pm and I still had to wait to get their attention, then for them to find the receipt, and then remake the drink. Today was the last straw. I walked in at 1:09pm, the person in front of me had just finished ordering and there was no one else in line. The cashier disappeared after taking their order. There were 6 other employees there (including the manager) who were all cleaning. No one acknowledged me until 1:15pm when the manager finally asked if I had been helped... I understand that it's only 5-6 minutes, but at the same time there were at least 6 people working and no one even batted an eye in my direction. While I was waiting for my drink, they forgot another woman's drink and she finally got hers 12 minutes later. I don't understand how they can't seem to get it together. I will not be returning here which is a bummer because they are literally right down the road from my house. I highly suggest avoiding this location...
