I was attacked by a boy named Casey, as i was watching the legendary Dave Coe Casey the boy bouncer came out of nowhere and chocked me. He then continued punching and fighting me. Many people witnessed the attack. I have seen over 50 shows at the bird and my family has been a part of the bluebirds history. The bouncer on the wall behind the bar, you know the picture of Bear with his red motorcycle, well thats my uncle. I am also related to the man on the bad elmer beer bottle that you serve. The Bluebird will never get my money again. And as I was the DD last night Casey had no right or reason to lay his hands on me. I have photographed my wounds. If Casey the Boy still works there 30 days from now then I will be forced to take legal action. Also he can try to lie about what happened but I have a friend who was recording the show, based on this footage my Lawyer has no doubt that I could sue this establishment for damages. As I know and respect the property owner I don't want that to happen, But if this out of control over zealous boy bouncer is still employed at the Bluebird I will have know choice. I am sure that he has many issues as a bouncer. as one of the other bouncer was between us trying to hold casey back, also on recording...............................................BAD FOR...
Read moreCompletely overrated. Unless you arrive four hours prior to the show, have no plans to use the restroom, and don't want refreshments, then you are going to be relegated to an area where you cannot see nor hear the artist.
Unsure on how fire codes are enforced, but they sell way more tickets than the venue can accommodate and the air conditioning can't hold the load; therefore, like many other derelick dumps, they have axial fans hanging all over the place and this is ALL you hear if you are not directly in front of the band.
Maybe if the artist is up-and-coming the venue would suffice, but for a national act it is a shameful cash-grab with zero interest in the audience's experience. I drove two hours and spent $150 for two tickets and we left before the third song was over.
This review was a cathartic exercise to help me get over being robbed. I am well aware nothing will actually occur from its posting, but screaming at the people working there was not an...
Read moreGod forbid you go to see a popular act here, a sold out show is beyond a nightmare. They sell enough tickets to max out their fire capacity, which includes two bars that have no visibility of the stage, so results in the crowd compressing into the main stage area and encompassing every natural walking path in the building. You will end up fighting through a crowd packed like sardines into one third of the space in the building while you are trying to reach a bathroom and struggling to breathe from the force of people pressed together. It baffles me why they wouldn't just increase the price of tickets by half and sell two thirds of them. I pray nobody has an emergency at one of those shows, the crowd would probably step on top of them for a...
