Toppers Pizza — Restaurant in Bloomington

Wow where do I start? Everything was fresh and delicious! The mac and cheese was completely new to me because I had never seen one made before with nacho cheese that has a little bit of spice and baked like a soul food mac, it was absolutely fantastic. And the bacon was super fresh on the bacon and cheese curd pizza, as well as the cheese curds it was like a delicate background flavor of pure cheesiness with ultra concentrated blobs of more cheese. Eat slice fills you up too, this has to be the hardest pizza I've ever got. The bacon you could tell was quality bacon, it tastes local like it was from Indiana or Wisconsin or somewhere extremely close. It just tastes so fresh everything compliments everything else and those cinnamon and icing sticks were fantastically delicious. Every single bite it tasted like cinnabon but reminded me of churros and like a sweet childhood memory. The chicken wings were fantastic as well. We ate them up in 2 seconds, the seasoning was on point and they were not rubbery one bit, the chicken was very fresh, it tasted like backyard for farm raised. Everything is completely and utterly delicious and I think that Bloomington has a new contender for the best pizza joint in town. Everything was to die for and I can't stop saying how delicious it was! We will continue to buy from you all...

I had the pleasure of being part of their VIP event the day before they opened, and they were giving away food to help train their staff. What an awesome opportunity and such a smart idea. As far as the food goes, I was very impressed as well. All of the ingredients were noticeably fresh. Their dough isn’t too thin or too thick, it’s crispy but it also has a nice chew. They told me that they were most well known for their Topperstix, so I ordered the Nacho. They were as great as I was told. As far as pizza in the midwest goes, you can’t get far without dipping sauce, and theirs was pretty awesome. I consider myself a Chipotle Ranch connoisseur and that was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the nacho cheese was on par as well. I definitely consider it now to be among the best pizza places in Bloomington. It is takeout and delivery only, and a fairly small lobby area, but with food that good, I will be happy to...

I hate to be that person but.. the pizza just isn’t very good. Now I did order through Grubhub so I can’t say it wouldn’t be different eating inside. Got a small cheese pizza that got her that looked like 90% light dark burned sauce than it did pizza. The other small was pepperoni sausage and mushroom. It’s not bad persay but I’ve had better pizza from gas stations. The cheese sticks were ok but not hot when they got here. The cheese sauce in the cup is gross, don’t get it.

The garlic sauce however was top notch and had good garlic flavor.

It’s not the worst pizza in down. Mother Bears is still overrated. Avers is still the best hands down. But every pizza place in Bloomington tasted worse than every single pizza place in northwest indiana and near Chicago.

Pizza Pantry is also up there in quality. This pizza is not.

I wish it was. As I love a good pizza but...
