This is One of the nicer Mc Donalds in the region. Nice friendly "professional," efficient, hard working staff 4.5 stars for their friendly customer service. I appreciate that.
For Clean Bathrooms and great turn around on in-store orders, with help of Computerized order Kiosk assist(4.5 Stars).
My main complaint is with: the less efficient Drive Thru iand Parking situation. They are both very crampt and congested on busy days. You can't even find a park most week days. And the drive thru is too narrow and/or short (I am not sure which) because it is really hard to pull in and out of a parking spot when the places busy, ( similar to a lot of the other Drive Thru restaurants I have visited lately. They need a better layout so that parked customers don't interfere with the drive-thru traffic and vice versa (2.5 Stars for logistics)
But on the bright side even though, it's a mostly busy place, the Day shift/ Dinner staff is also VERY Efficient at getting you in and on your way, and the food-the Famous Mc D Fries especially- is always Fresh. This is still one of the most efficient Mc D's Staff in the region in my book. (4.0 stars for an Effient Staff).
I cant say the same for the Late Evening/ Night Staff though. It can be a bit of a wait to get your food if you come anytime after 7:30pm at night. and the DRIVE THRU is often backed-up to the entrance. Maybe they need an outside traffic coordinator/ order taker or something. (2.5 stars)
In Full Disclosure: I do deliver meals to homes and offices with various meal delivery services, and hotel concierge service, so I go to A LOT of different Restaurants, and eateries. SO I KNOW the look and smell of "stale food" and bad customer service when it is being served up.
"Bad customer service" is NOT at play here in this case at this store. May be, hiring more Late Evening Staff, and utilizing out door Order taking supports may help. But better Landscape/ environmental design is what is needed most to fully address these "occasional" traffic jams, and cramped parking situation. (Btw my car also got scratched here).
Happily for this McDonald's on (Cornell /Reid Hartman Rd , Blue Ash OH) it is a very clean, well lit, well kept, efficiently ran business for the most part.
But They may need to re-configure their Drive Thru and Parking Lot a bit though. And put in place better procedures to handle the evening/late night rush, as well as improve on delivery service orders effiency.
That's why this Establishment/ Franchisee/ Biz Operations itself gets only (3.5 Stars), but because of the great staff they hired that was bumped to an overall 4.0 stars.
OH BTW they DO NOT have a Kids Play Area. 😐...
Read moreI had a very strange experience on April 2nd 2025 around 9:15 pm, I dine inside with my 2 children because that seems to be the only way to get a decent large fry for nearly $4, and I was the only one there at the time, and I ordered 3 McCracken with 3 large fries with no salt and 3 waters, then the cashier never gave me receipt because she said the receipt machine was down in the front, then I waited standing for about 20 minutes and received our food at about 9:38 pm when the dining close at 10 pmmin, and me and my kids sat with with no water, I then tried so hard to get some attention to get cups for water and it took awhile, I finally got some cups and got water. Our food was not fresh at all but we had a hard time trying to get some attention, so we ate it with dissatisfaction and the fries still isn't a decent advertising size. We finished trying to eat before closing, then as we ordered smoothies to go, we waited and waited for a cashier, Claudia I believe is her name with no name tags on anyone said she can help with fresh fries and that she was the only working, I understood and ask for a credit and she changed her mind when a guy from the back walked up speaking Spanish. . So when me and my kids left, we've experienced stomach aches and massive gas and heart burns and I had to make tea to settleour stomachs. I then called Marsadee and she said she is the Manger and she will talk to her gm and call me back to find out what happened and what to do, I never received a call back. I had a terrible experience with my kids at this location after we left the library feeling hungry and thought this locations was a good choice and I was wrong. No One has any compassion here! And that's...

I order sweet tea from McDonald's hundreds of times per year. It's actually part of why I go to McDonald's. Regardless of location, from Orlando to Atlanta to Cincinnati, McDonald's sweet tea is usually consistent in flavor, which is part of why I love it. Imagine if one McDonald's, out of thousands, changed the taste of the Big Mac or filet of fish. People wouldn't be happy with that one location. This McDonald's has messed with the flavor of the sweet tea and added, what tastes like, a strong Wintergreen flavor. It's unexpected, overpowering, and completely unwelcome. Some people probably like it, but I do not and will no longer visit this McDonald's. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have stopped in this location for lunch many times. Out of the numerous McDonald's restaurants I visit during a years time, this is one of the better locations. The workers are often friendly, their drive-through order accuracy is above average, and the location is usually clean and well maintained. The drive-through also has two working lanes, compared with other McDonald's in the area that have two lanes but never activate the second lane. Having two lanes can significantly decrease drive through wait time. And this McDonald's usually provides great service at a respectable speed. Also, the proximity to a major intersection in Blue Ash makes it a convenient stop for a burger...
