St. Vincent de Paul Louisville Thrift Store — Local services in Blue Ridge Manor

I have not been in the store for almost a year probably. The policy of not selling an item if it’s not marked rubbed me the wrong way some time ago. I had found a chair cushion that matched another one I had found in the store a few months prior. It did not have price; I found it among pillows. Cashier said it had to go back to pricing dept. Oh my. I thought then that there are plenty other shops to go to and ur store didn’t need business too bad! Yesterday I was in the shopping center tho and thought I would stop in. I do give other shops plenty of business! Couple hours shopping goes pretty fast. I found a skirt among many other things to buy. It was among ur skirts. I ask cashier about it, and she agreed it was a skirt. I told her I was going to wear it as a dress. When I ask her the price she told me a dress price. I don’t no ur pricing but I have similar items, and it can be worn as a skirt or dress. I would think a skirt is cheaper than a dress. I guess ur shop is desperate these days so I left it with you for another customer. While I was there a side table drawer would not close! It was real lovely and I thought about purchasing. There were undergarments in behind the drawer and I pulled them out so the drawer closes fine now for ur next customer. Seemed like an easy fix that ur pricing dept/handlers could have caught. Needless to say...happy hunting for ur other customers. I just don’t have an urge to come back...

Going to this store has always been one of My favorite things to do but here lately I find myself going in the store just to chat with the new manager she is such a delight.. I was in the store yesterday and all I will say is bless her heart she always shows nothing but respect and compassion no matter what and the way I seen her handle herself yesterday to say the least I was amazed I sincerely hope she finds her footing and they don't run her off because you can tell she truly cares about her job and she doesn't crack under pressure because I would have grab my stuff and ran out of there at one point i felt like i was watching a child get bullied by three grown ups but yet she still smiled and remained calm. The way that her team kicked in to help her even the Ceo (I think not sure) was great as well I love the teamwork and support i witness yesterday and the store looked great the clothes racks are low but I see them trying to get...

Called before bringing my SUV packed full of donations to make sure someone would help me carry it into the store due to it being about 10 garbage bags full of clothes and large baby items and having a sprained ankle. The lady that answered assured me someone could assist me in carrying the bags of clothes. On arrival, I see an older lady in the donation center and ask if there was anyone able to help me unload and she says "Well how'd it get into your car", with such a sour attitude. I told her if she didn't want to be bothered to help me I would just take it somewhere else. I'm sure Goodwill will make a pretty profit off the amount of clothes and baby items that were donated.
