Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Blue Ridge Manor

This is petty but just gotta drop this review. I love baskin-Robbins. This location has been here for a while and even though I live in Indiana, my kids and I go out of our way to come here and have for 11 years. The other night, my ice cream got dumped. I ordered 2 scoops of mint chocolate chip. Pretty simple eh? Upon scooping and handing me the dish, the gal doing it stated” I think I need to give you a cup due to our ice cream is not cold and melting.” I’m not a rude person so I just replied “ ok sweetie!” She was right. Ice cream was soft, somewhere between cool and warm. But the worst part was it tasted stale and slightly freezer burnt. Guys come on! I know times are odd and hard. But it’s ice cream! You have one main job and that is to keep it cold! I will come back but take a look at your basic jobs of an ice cream shop and make sure all is working before you take locals money and serve...

BR is my family's favorite place when it comes to desserts. Employees have always been friendly, smiling and polite but last night was the worst customer service I've seen in a very long time. When we arrived one of the employees was angry and being loud to other employee. So loud in fact, I had to raise my voice at my daughter so she could hear me talk to her. When the employee finally had time for us, I got "what do u want". Very rude, hateful tone is what I got. I wanted to leave but my kids really like BR so I ordered. After the women slammed the cup on the counter , my daughter said thank you. What she said next had me in knots about ever coming back. " YEAH OK" is what she said!!!!!!! Does no one train employees anymore? Nearly everywhere I go that has someone under 25 working, has no idea how to handle customers. On "National Ice Cream Day" kids sundaes were supposed to be free if you ordered a sundae. I did, but was still charged. I asked for a refund since I didn't notice until after I had paid and she said "We can't give refunds once its been paid" What??
