Andy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Blue Springs

Updating review to offer that, even over time, Andy's is incredibly consistent. That's probably the piece I appreciate most. Especially with kids and not having to worry about their order not being as expected.

Original review as follows: Delicious! Appreciate too that they have a rewards program which is $5 for every $50 spent. Kids like the glass front and getting to watch everything being made. They are quick to get orders out and have been accurate 100% of the time for us. In the drive thru if there are multiple cars, they will actually walk up to each car to take the order which helps keep things moving. One grievance is with customers in the drive thru. They have stop signs for cars to leave space for customers on foot to walk through but as if it were a car wash, people line up bumper to bumper. Since thats an issue with other customers, wont take away from the rating. Do suggest for enter/exit to use Coronado. A bit out of the way, but the congestion between the 7 hwy/Coronado intersection and I-70...

I’ve never had a problem when I’ve come here in the past but this visit was a little disappointing. It’s Friday night around 9:15, maybe 5 other cars in the drive-thru. We ordered a hot fudge sundae and a snow monster add hot fudge. When we pulled out we realized neither of them had hot fudge so we pulled back around. The young man at the window seemed a little upset we were back, he argued there was already hot fudge blended into the snow monster and asked “what do you want, some on top too?” I just let it go and said don’t worry about it….he then asked for the hot fudge sundae back, poured the fudge and then dumped it upside down in a regular cup. And to my disappointment when i got home there was only a few strawberry pieces in my entire snow monster. It just took the fun out of our little late night ice cream date, and made it seem like we were a hassle. If i wanted plain vanilla ice cream i would have had...

Honestly surprised. I’ve had Andy’s in the past and I never expected when I sent my husband to get this it would be less than amazing. It’s about 10:15 pm on a Saturday night snd maybe that’s why the quality wasn’t good. But I sent him to get my the cassenova cookie concrete thing with hot fudge in the middle. I was really disappointed. We live right up the street so it’s about a 3 min drive back home from Andy’s so timing doesn’t explain the issue. When I opened the bag the ice cream was in a cup inside of a white bag, it was a melty watery milkshake consistency and it just was not good at all. It was like ice cream soup with hard cookie bits in it and clumps of fudge. I honestly was really disappointed and surprised . We have been in blue springs Missouri about 7 months and this is my first time having the Andy’s here, I am not anxious to return. Wish I had a better review...
