Hawaiian Bros Island Grill — Restaurant in Blue Springs

First time having Hawaiian Bros and let me tell y'all .. we ordered through Uber eats though I was a lil afraid of what we may end up with it certainly didn't disappoint we got the Hawaiian chicken and huli huli chicken and it was so good y'all!! I can't complain about none of it!! The only complaint I really have is that we didn't know about this place sooner! The portions were good the sticky rice I love sticky rice it was so dang good the teriyaki is thinner than I expected how ever it was also good and the pineapple BBQ has a tiny lil kick to it at least for me it did but it was so good and savory!!we are on the road all the time as my husband is a truck driver and we eat at all kinds of places and I will say this this is the best food either of us have had in a very long time!!! I'm so glad to have found this place!! We will be back through again and he was just telling me as I right this review remember this for when we are in so and so !! Hell how can I forget!! I also called the manager (Ronnie answered) and let her know because I know they probably get mostly griping but I also feel that with complaints you should also praise when there is a job well done!! We’re in town from Chicago and saw the reviews for this place and HAD to stop and check it out. So happy we did! From the moment we stepped in the door to the when we left, everything about it was great. Andrew helped us order after asking if we’ve been here before. He answered questions about the menu and made small talk about where we were from. We joked about how I knew he must be the infamous Andrew from reviews I’d read.

Food was delicious! We tried 4 of the 6 proteins: Huli Huli Chicken, Molokai Chicken (has a flame but Andrew said it’s not actually spicy and he was correct), Honolulu Chicken, and Luau Pig. They were all delicious. Macaroni salad was also good… refreshing while eating the rest.

Andrew came to check on us while we were eating. And we got to play a game and won a free Dole Soft Serve!

The kitchen is huge. We talked to Andrew about this too. He said they get the chicken, cut it, grill it in house. Everything is prepared in their kitchen.

Great concept despite that it's a Hawaiian theme with zero seafood. Very yummy dishes. Hopefully they're still working the kinks out of their system: For instance, touch screen kiosks for ordering to "skip the line" but if u order a special drink or simply need your printed receipt, you're back in line... or rather, the mob because nobody is waiting- they're just bum rushing the cashier kid.

Also the iPad ordering system could use some more words & bigger pics because it can be misleading for 1st timers.

But i gotta say, this place really marries a new twist on fast food with recipes that also have a new twist on them served in a way that... well... it's a new twist!

I look for this place to expand into new stores & expand the menu to include some sashimi or something. Both within 3 years is my guess.

I recommend heading off the Karens with some kind of green statement about why certain choices were or were not made &/ or donations to save sea turtle habitats (which i think are great spots for people during the 9 months when turtles aren't using them... just saying).
