This location is by far one of the best in town. The manager here is top-notch. I'm a coupon queen, at least that's what my husband calls me because for all the 39 years we've been together, I've always used coupons whenever I can here and there to save us a penny or two. After a late golf outing, we decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. I sat at a table and rummaged thru my purse in search of a Panda Express receipt with a survey coupon code on it. It'd been a while since we'd been there. Anyway, I found what I thought was an old Panda receipt that was ink faded, yet still clearly had the handwritten discount code on it. So, after ordering my meal, I proudly presented the cashier with my coupon. She took one look at it and scrunched her face in bewilderment, saying she didn't know how to process this one. So she went to the back to get some help from her manager. So tiny while later or comes the cashier with manager in tow. He sweetly said to me with a smile, "Ma'am, did you know this is a Churches Chicken coupon?" OMGOODNESS... I hadn't realized I'd given him that because it was so faded out I didn't pay any attention to the red print that stated I'd receive a free drumstick or thigh for completing the survey questionnaire and presenting the code they give you at the finish. We'll, that's the same thing that Panda Express does except they offer a small side entree in addition to your original entree purchase. The manager could tell I was embarrassed, and I quickly told him, "No problem" I'm happy to just pay for the small side of already ordered, when he said no worries ma'am. I've got you... I'll take it anyway! I couldn't believe it. But even better, the food was incredibly fresh and delicious! They were out of one of the entrees we wanted, so he made us some fresh to order chicken and mushroom entrees. They were amazing! We now know why we always come...
Read moreWent to the drive through 20 mins before closing. They said they were out of fried rice and all they had left was chow mein and white rice. So I order the the chow mein. Well I guess they thought I wasn’t going to check it! I did end up checking it before leaving and the chow mein hardly had any noodles in it. I had to pull up to walk in because no one came back to the window. As I got out of my car the employees started to turn off all the lights. I got lucky because one of the employees walked outside from the back of the store. I explained to her about my order and then a man came to the door and I had to explain to him. He then went back in to see if there was anymore... there wasn’t. He told me he could get me another meat or I could come back tomorrow. I also addressed that it was only 9:45 and they were already turning off the lights and all he could tell me was that they are trying to cut back on making so much food. If they didn’t have the chow mein why couldn’t they just say so! I would of been happy...
Read moreI have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. I always inform the business to be complaint with section 4a of the county health order. Every business I have visited in Jackson County has respected that except for this Panda Express location. I was told by the manager in front of everyone to leave and wait outside for my order in the 100 degree heat, and it was completely embarrassing and inappropriate.
Yes, I did feel like I was being singled out for having a medical condition which is illegal especially since I was in complete compliance with the law and the health order. I won't be returning to this restaurant and I would advise them immediately to function in compliance with ALL SECTIONS of the health order including section 4a or face strict penalties. The full text of the mandate is available on the...
