My husband recently bought a new iPhone from AT&T customer service over the phone. He went to this location due to the fact we live in town near by. The store was open till 6:00 PM on a Sunday. My husband showed up at the store at 5:30 PM . All my husband needed was his contacts and pictures moved over which would not take long. The lady at the front door jerked his phone out of his hand and was very abrupt the whole visit. She let my husband know that he was putting her out by showing up at 5:30 PM. A lady showed up at the store a few minutes before the store was to close while my husband and son where there. The store had the front door locked already. The store totally disregarded the lady at the door and ignored her till she left . This store is not a very friendly and helpful store . This store has obviously forgotten who butters their bread and without customers they would be out of a job. Another example of their rudeness was when me and my husband recently called customer service to purchase our son a phone. Customer service said they had iPhones on sale so I decided to go to this store and check out the phones in person. I got to this store and spoke with a lady and told her that I was there to look at the iPhones that they had on sale. She was very rude and said I don't know where you got the idea that we had iPhones on sale and would not show them to me. She preceded to show me another phone that was a $ 800.00 phone. I told her I was looking for a first phone for my 13 year old and that I wanted a reliable nice phone but did not need the top of the line . She was very rude once again said ok maybe I should show you something more in your price range. She started showing me the cheapest phones in the store that were junk. I finally said thank you anyway and left. I went home and called customer service and told them that I had just went over to their store and that I was told the iPhones were not on sale. She said they are on sale and sold me one over the phone that was reasonably priced and was a good first phone . Me and my family now go over to the Lee Summit Store . It is a little further drive but it is worth it to get the good service we deserve and be treated like our business is important and matters. I know this post is lengthy but I wanted to take the time to let everyone know the two horrible experiences my family had at this location....
Read moreA co-worker tells me that the AT&T store in Blue Springs has the BodyGuardz hard plastic screen protector I need for my Galaxy S10+, great! Well, I thought I'd call ahead and just make sure they have the product before I drive 30min to the store. Make the call and it rings...and rings....and rings....and rings....hmm, maybe they're closed at 1:30pm on a Sunday? I double check, nope! open till 6pm, ok lets keep trying, ring ring ring...nooope. Well heck, I guess I'll head out there and hope they have the screen protector. Flash forward 30min. I arrive at the store and pop in. It's tough to spot the store associates, they're not really wearing any identifying clothing, kind of like under cover cops, they look like anyone else. And just like a customer would be, they're not really worried about my presence so I didn't get any aknowledgement. Eventurally I do identify the store associates and try to make some eye contact, I don't need a phone, just an accessory so this will be a quick one for them! Nooo, nope, they don't wanna see me right now. I'm standing around so I guess I'll look for the protector my self and then maybe they'll ask if I need help. I don't see what I'm looking for so now I really need some help. So I stand around looking helpless for a bit, surely they'll say hi, how ya doin, be right with ya, can I help ya, what are you looking for? Naaaah, that would make too much sense. Clearly I'm a ghost here, so I'll just leave and drive 30min back home. Now that was an hour well spent! So, AT&T on NE Coronado Dr, I must say you're severely lacking in the most BASIC customer service and honnestly human interaction skills. You might be with a customer, but if the phone rings, you can still take that call and shoot some quick info. It's your job. You might be with a custmoer when another customer walks in the door, you can aknowldege them, it won't hurt. You can even ask them what they need, it's easy. Just let them know you see them, and that you can or can't do the thing they need help with and let them know you'll be right with them. Boom. Easy. By the looks of the other reviews though, this store is kinda meh isn't it. Par for the course then eh? I'll make sure not stop on in again, you all have...
Read moreMy Aunt's friend took her to the ATT store in Blue Springs, Missouri, because her phone would allow her to hear others. Being elderly and on a fixed income, she left rehab long enough to replace it. She only needed to make and receive call, so a simple flip phone is what she asked for, so $60.00 later she left with her new phone on 7/8/17. Only to get back to rehab and find out it didn't work. The phone couldn't ring only vibration mode worked and she couldn't call out, as it just ended the call. She was taken back out the, only to be told she would have to pay a $45.00 restocking fee to return a phone that never worked properly in the first place. When they asked to speak to the manager, they where told he would not speak with them. So we ordered her a Jitterbug. I called to turn off her service and see if we could get her $60.00 she paid for the phone back, and her month service fee, as she was unable to use, since neither of the phones worked since before the first of the month. We were on the phone with ATT for over 3 and a half hours, only to be told, the have no way to refund her money. I believe that she was due a refund as the phone never worked to begin with, but AT&T, I guess believes it is ok to take advantage of elderly people in our community. I am outraged that they believe it is good business practice to behave in this manner. Thoughts from the...
