Went here tonight as a party of 8 to celebrate a sweet friend. This was the worst dining experience we've ever had. Upon seating us, the waitress provided 2 sets of silverware. We didn't think much of it as our party was arriving separately, but once we were seated, we asked for more silverware. She brought 3 more sets. There's 8 of us, so we were still short and had to ask again for enough silverware for each guest. We laughed it off, ordered drinks and appetizers, which arrived somewhat timely. The Billionaire's Bacon was delicious.
We placed our food order, and ordered a second round of drinks. We watched our drinks sit on the bar for 10 minutes, so we went to the bar and verified the drinks were ours. Bartender said they were, and told us we could take them to our table, so we did. Our waitress came over and was very rude, telling us we weren't allowed to get our drinks, even though we asked. We were just trying to help, but we apologized, she fussed at us a bit more, then left.
The manager stopped by to check on us, and we inquired about our food, as it'd been about 45 minutes. She assured us our food would be the next out. Over the next 45 minutes we watched tables around us get food, eat, and leave, despite being seated after us. We asked again about our food, and were told again it'd be right out. At this point our friends were now late for their plans, as we'd been waiting over an hour & a half. Finally our food came out. 5 of 8 orders were wrong. All of our food was cold. The mashed potatoes had a thick, hard film on them where they'd been sitting. There was a hair on my husband's plate. None of the wings had the correct sauces. The burger was crunchy. Our server never came back to check on us, until she was ready to give us the bill. When we mentioned our food was cold and the orders weren't correct, she gave us an attitude, so we asked for the manager, who argued with us about our service. The manager told us that unlike other restaurants, Twin Peaks makes all their food from scratch. Now, that may be, but if a restaurant can't make 8 meals from scratch and get them to the table hot & timely, then they have no business preparing food for others. There was no offer to comp our bill, just arguing and attitude, and finally the manager said, "well all I can tell you is I hope you give us another chance." No thanks, we'll pass. We left over $200 worth of food on the table, which was such a waste, but we were hesitant to eat it after it'd clearly set for a while. We were really hoping to find a new place to eat, but Twin Peaks certainly won't be it. Moving forward, we'll just stick to supporting our locally...
Read moreSince my first review, I have visited several more times, and I feel it is necessary to edit my original review. Right off the bat, the customer service is horrible, absolutely horrible! I have visited at least 20 times and every visit I experience, or I watch other people experience unnecessarily long wait times at the bar. The bartenders see new people approach the bar and just choose to ignore them for 10 - 15 minutes. They can at least give a quick greeting and say I'll be right with you. This happens when the restaurant isn't even busy. It is a common problem that all my friends notice as well. During my last visit, I was at a table and heard a man approach the manager stating, "It has been 35 f#$king minutes, and we can't get a beer at the bar." This issue is growing out of control and will eventually lead to the downfall of this restaurant. On another recent visit we had a very large party. I am aware they do not take reservations but wanted to give them a heads up a few hours before our visit. I talked to the assistant manager, who did not want to accommodate us at all. Basically, he tried to talk me out of coming. We arrived around 5:30 with a party of 18. The hostess advised me it would be an hour and advised me they would try to get us tables near each other. Several of us went to the bar, and a few people had to stand since there was not enough seating. The bartenders were serving walk ups at the other side of the bar. The manager came up to my friend and said "this isnt that type of bar! I told my bartenders not to serve you! You have to be seated to be served. " My friend advised him he never even attempted to order a drink.. the manager said everyone could go wait by the door. Now, there were already other people waiting by the door, so there was not nearly enough room for everyone to wait in a 5-foot doorway. The manager continued around the bar advising other patrons they weren't going to be served. This is another issue that needs to be resolved. Either you make a proper waiting area or start accepting reservations for parties larger than 12 people. The entire experience ended up being a complete train wreck with people getting cold wings, missing appetizers, and incorrect bills. This place needs a saving grace at this point! If they continue to operate like this, I dont see it lasting...
Read more1st time for 2 of us. 2nd for 2 others. I thought it really strange that you had to use qr code on the table to find food or drinks. When asked for a real menu, the server was like, it's right here pointing to the qr code. Insisting, she finally brought 1 paper menu and said someone must have taken the rest. Good thing at least one of us had a phone we could pull up the menu. Server kept saying she was new and sorry but couldn't even tell us what kind of beer they had. Being election day, they had a feature, free chips and queso with your "I voted today" sticker. I asked for that, and chips with a ground beef mixture were brought out. When asked about the queso, I'm new and sorry again. She brought it out, same comment again. They were good though. As were the cheese type balls we had. The lobster rolls blt and smokestack sandwich were very good. The beer battered fish and chips were good but when asked for more tarter sauce, very little was brought with the dinner, the server again with same comment, came back and said they were making more, 10 min later, oh, we don't know when it will be ready. It was a regular menu item and we had 2 people order the fish and chips. You would have thought they would have started making it sooner. Oh well. They also need a few more regular tables instead of all high tops. We are older and had to wait for them to clean off a table as another older group came in and they didnt want high top either. And this comment is just because it ended the night so fitting. Our server and several others were sitting at the hostess station and had what i assumed was their tip money spread across the table counting and organizing it. Just seemed tacky let alone a perfect opportunity for theft. They are still fairly new in the area. Maybe it...
