Hobby Lobby — Local services in Boardman

Every single time I go in this place I get followed or accused at the register for stealing. The only thing I ever go in to buy is blank t shirts or onesies. The one time I buy something that isn’t a shirt I get accused of putting a clearance sticker on the item…..that I literally pulled off the shelf after a worker tagged it. Had the whole crew down at the register causing a scene over a $5 item. ‘I guess we’ll give it to you on sale’ 🙄 Another time I tried buying plastic shelving-the cashier looked through the drawers during checkout (which is fine-you’re supposed to) but another employee picked up my purse and rechecked the drawers on my way out. She’s lucky my toddler was with me or I would have knocked her out for touching my personal items. And GOD FORBID my toddler makes a fuss in that store. He’s a good kid-always sits in the buggy, but like any 2 year old, will get fussy if we take too long or squeals if he sees anything he likes. They act like they’ve never seen or heard a small child before and it’s a sin that he’s breathing. I don’t fit their ‘cookie cutter perfect person’ look so I guess a young mom with tattoos is automatically a thief…if only they knew that I use their blank shirts to make Halloween themed clothing for my business. I don’t think I’ve ever left a 1 star review… I love hobby lobby and all the fun stuff they have there although at this location the older women that work here are very rude. The first time I came here there was a lady vacuuming by the main entrance, we had to jump over all the cords as she snipped our feet with the vacuum. It was also only 6 pm when they close at 8pm. She didn’t say sorry or even acknowledge us. Then I stopped here yesterday and I was quietly minding my own business shopping and the SAME lady peaked her head in the aisle I was in and then decided she was going to come down the aisle with a HUGE broom that took up the whole floor. I’m thinking in my head, like “she couldn’t wait” I wasn’t done in the aisle! She came toward me fast as heck and I’m like “surely she is going to stop” BUT NO! She keeping coming and as she gets to my feet she asks me to move… .idk where she expected me to move to, I was in the middle of the aisle and I couldn’t jump up on one of the shelves and I’m also 5 months pregnant! I jumped over the broom and needless to say. I’m avoiding this store as much as I can now. The old dark grey hair lady seems so inconsiderate and mean. Not just once but twice. How does...

I'm from out of town and needed a specific kind of steel wire to repair a part on my car to get home. I was having a hard time finding it, so I decided to go up to the front to ask what isle I might find it in, but before I got the chance to say anything, they asked in a rough tone if I found everything I was looking for, and when I asked about the steel wire and where I might find some, they replied that they have nothing I could need, and that perhaps this just isn't the right store for what I want, and were otherwise openly hostile towards me for an unknown reason. I am black, but I don't think that was the reason they were hostile towards me. It didn't look like racism, and I've seen plenty. My only guess is perhaps they recently had a problem with someone who looks just like me. But after I spoke to them they should have recognized based on my voice I wasn't this unknown person, as my voice is distinctive. Anyways, I felt it best to just leave empty handed, still stranded without the wire their website shows is in stock but I couldn't find. I had indeed found it isn't the right store for...
