*UPDATED REVIEW September 16, 2023 FOOD LOOKS GOOD?.....ITS NOT!!! So, as you can see by my review below from 5 years ago, Flanigan's has been my favorite restaurant for many years. Tonight that totally changed! My family and I drove 1 hour and 11 minutes to get to this location. We literally drove past the Stuart location which was 5 mins from where we were just because we have always had such a good experience here. We had an excellent waitress Lillie which was the only positive part of our experience. We ordered ribs, wings, burgers. The food was horrible! Everything was dried out and stale. I left the restaurant totally disappointed. I didn't want to give Lillie a hard time because she had been so polite, professional and courteous. Therefore, I waited until I got home and I called to tell the manager about my experience. The manager that came to the phone was "AJ". The way he responded was shocking and was nothing short of a nightmare. I started out by complimenting the restaurant and telling him how long I've been a customer. But, then I started telling him about my experience. He stopped me mid sentence and immediately became defensive. I was surprised because I had not complained, nor had I asked him to compensate me. I simply relayed my experience. He then started lecturing me about how I waited to get home to call and left the restaurant without returning the food and now, how could he possibly help me. I listened in stunned silence. I had not asked him to do anything. I did not ask for a refund nothing. He lectured me, then told me I have put him in a bad position as now I left with the food and there is nothing he can do. At that point, I mentioned to him that I actually have the food here and can post pics in my review if he would like to see the pics. He stated to me that I was "free to post whatever I wanted". He basically came across as though he was saying he did not care. He then ended the conversation by saying "come back and see us". I politely told him, that would not be the case. I will not return there. I would like to say to this Flanigan's that people like me are the backbone of your business. Without me (customers) you have no business. I was dumbfounded at the way in which AJ treated me and how he responded to me. I felt ashamed for calling to express how I felt about my experience. I know that as a restaurant you are established Flanigan's, but never forget your WHY. You're here because of people like me. If you shame us and talk down to us when we are displeased, you will lose people who genuinely desire to support your business. I hope you guys don't ever treat anyone else the way AJ treated me. Read moreMy wife and I stopped by Flanigans for a bite to eat last night. We were seated right next to the time clock which gave us a good view of the environment. I ordered a drink which came right away but my wife had issues with receiving hers. After she put an order for her drink, our waiter (Miss Stacy) then decided to greet and conversate with the other girls that were clocking in at the time. My wife was really upset just watching our waiter hang at the time clock, talking as if she is on break. What's worse is after our waiter was done conversating, she then turns to my wife and says, "Oh, I'm sorry, didn't you order a drink?" The drink was repeated for our order and she then went to the time clock kiosk on the wall and put it in saying sorry I forgot. Our waiter then greets another girl and walks off conversating with them. We lost hope complaining about the service until we saw this awesome individual. I did not know what his title was, but his customer service was INCREDIBLE! After seeing him assist 2 customer, relocate some product and move dishes while greeting his co-workers and not stopping for longer than 3 seconds. This was amazing. His energy drew me and my wife in. She said WOW outloud and he heard her asking her did she need help with anything. I watched this man do countless tasks, help a number of people and greeted anyone who was near him. This has to be a leader of sorts I told myself waiting for the opportunity to shake his hand. As soon as we were finished I looked for this man. I introduced myself and commended him on his amazing customer service. I asked for his name and he told me it was AJ. I looked on his shirt which read "AJ Manager." I left this establishment with a smile on my face because of AJ. I'm sure there are other hard workers but "Stacy" left such a bad taste that we had to rate service a 2. Other than that, food was really good and the atmosphere was nice and chill! Thank...
