These guys that work in the Boca Raton location can be total douches. Ordering over the phone is always a huge mistake. I bet these idiots could mess up a wet dream. I placed an order with a co-worker and I made sure to specify 3 times that the second order was separate and that it would be paid for in cash. The guy still charged me for both orders on my card. I also ordered a drink with my Order and didn't receive it. When I called in to complain, I was told that when the order was picked up, no one asked for a drink and not to worry because I wasn't charged for it. The guy on the phone was arguing with me about it, then put the phone down for about ten minutes before someone else picked up and asked how I could be helped. I mentioned about the drink and this new guy said I wasn't charged. My bag specifically said there was a drink on the order and my receipt shows I was charged for it. Then when we began eating our food, my coworker noticed his sandwich had mayo on it which we also specifically asked for it not to include. We were credited for that sandwich but I was told since I wasn't charged for the drink that they wouldn't credit for that. My receipt shows it was charged, so in the end my only conclusion is that these kids don't know what the hell they're doing and I will probably just have to do a chargeback on my CC. Their excuse was that they were short handed, but my coworker who picked up the order said they had 6 people working there today and they didn't look like they were short-handed at all. Total Douche bags.

One last thing, this wasn't the first time they've messed up our orders either. I had another coworker who spent 15 minutes on the phone explaining that he wanted a grilled chicken sandwich and not a chicken salad, and of course when the food arrived it was...

Great restaurant when you dine in, but their ordering to-go system is terrible. It’s a completely backwards ordering system. Instead of their items coming with everything by default to then customize what you don’t want on them if need be you actually need to add everything that it normally would come with otherwise you’ll get a plain sandwich/ salad that is not worth it. Would have been a good PSA to know regarding their online ordering system, because we just spent 80$ on plain sandwiches and salads we could have gotten at subway. Total rip off. Their online ordering system doesn’t make sense. If an item is listed to come with x, y and z, I shouldn’t have to make sure it comes with x, y and z if i want all of the above as that is the default aka how it should come anyways. I should only have to edit it if I don’t want x, y or z. If i were ordering a sort of create my own ordeal totally understandable, but if im ordering it as advertised to come with all of the above and it comes with none of the above because i was apparently supposed to specify in the customization all of the items i wanted that it was said to come with thats just disappointing. We called and they said sorry that’s how we ordered then, when actually no? We were fooled by false advertisement. If it’s not listed as a plain sandwich I don’t expect to receive a plain sandwich. I can't say enough about LaSpada's. They've grown to five locations, and supposedly they're looking to add more (which would be awesome). I used to bring LaSpada's with me to every Miami Dolphins tailgate because they're the perfect picnic/tailgate food. These subs are absolutely massive. A small is plenty for most people, and a large 12" is probably enough food to keep you full for the whole day.

They have a team of sandwich makers that layer meat, veggies, more veggies, then more meat on top. The guys making your sandwich throw the meat back and forth between each other with a bit of flair. LaSpada's is what a sub shop should be. None of this Subway, Jersey Mike's, or Jon Smith crap. If you live in South Florida, and you want to eat a sub, you get LaSpada's Original Hoagies. You'll be forgiven if you have a Publix sub, but that's the only free pass you'll get.

Here you know you're getting fresh meats and veggies. You're not eating something that has been sitting out or kept in preservatives. I love the buffalo chicken hoagie, and I'm also partial to just plain 'ol turkey! The Italian special is awesome, and I dare anyone to eat the Monster.
