Last night Dec 17th we visited Dennys. Our waiter was really sweet but obviously sick. He was attentive but, every time he turned around he was coughing on everything 💀. The food, the drinks, the entire kitchen area where food is prepared. Im not sure if it was allergies or covid however, thats not even the reason I'm leaving a one star review. There's a manager ( i mean if you can call her that. Anyone with common sense would know that its a serious health risk to allow someone that sick to work around food and guest) who's attention i brought it to. I wasn't rude about it at all. I simply said our waiter is a really nice guy but he's coughing all over everything. In today's climate, the way things are, that's not cool at all. She kept cutting me off saying first that he probably doesn't realize he's coughing all over everything?? Seriously lady?? Then as I kept talking she was cutting me off saying ill speak to him. I'll speak to him. Rude as can be. Has absolutely no business serving the public if she doesn't understand something as simple as the health code. This literally is a health violation. She then says bye have a nice night. I responded that im waiting for someone in the restroom. She walks off, talks to him and they carry on doing the same thing. She didn't send him home or anything. We will never visit this Dennys again. Tomorrow im contacting the health department to make documentation of the incident just in case any of us come up sick within the...
Read moreWe recently had a fantastic family dinner at the Denny's on Boerne. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. Our server, Valerie, was absolutely phenomenal. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure our dining experience was top-notch. I ordered the T-bone steak and eggs, and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy and flavorful, and the eggs were perfectly scrambled. My wife had the club sandwich, and she was equally impressed with the taste and quality of the ingredients. My oldest daughter had the cheeseburger, which she devoured in no time. My youngest enjoyed a stack of fluffy pancakes. We had never stopped at this location before, always passing it on our trips. This time, we were so tired and hungry that we decided to give it a try, and it was the best decision we've ever made. We had never been to Denny's before, and wow, color us impressed! This won't be just a one-time thing; we're making it part of our routine to stop here every single time. We want to make sure we have Valerie to serve us and enjoy the amazing food. We had no idea how incredible your food was—we always thought you were just a regular diner. Who knew you had such amazing food?
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning to this Denny's...
Read moreI’m giving this experience a 4 star due to the amazing server/hostess. Both Ismael (Junior) and Haylee were absolutely top notch. They actually worked well together serving, seating, cashing out and Junior even jumped in the kitchen to knock out orders and kept my coffee full the entire time!! Haylee at 8 months pregnant, kept her professional demeanor as Stacy berated her to a customer. She never let it get to her and continued giving wonderful service. The terrible manager, Stacy, was unprofessional, jaded and vile. I heard her call her staff crazy twice to a customer who was upset about waiting to be seated of which they only waited for three mins. Hands down, Stacy the manager is the reason why they are short staffed and can’t keep good employees. She is a terrible cook as well. She made a half zesty nachos that was very underwhelming. Corporate needs to promote Ismael to manager and Haylee as the assistant and pay them what they are worth. I was so disappointed to see a manager treat the employees with so little dignity and respect. I understand running a restaurant can be stressful but thank goodness that her jaded negative attitude didn’t rub off on those stellar employees!!! so thanks to Ismael and Haylee for a great experience unfortunately due to management I...
