In general I love H-E-B. But, this location has gone downhill recently - especially when compared to the Bulverde/Spring Branch location. I definitely do not recommend their Curbside Pick Up here. I have had a lot of problems where they are obviously trying to get rid of bad product off the shelves that nobody would choose for themselves. This is especially true with produce. From bruised and partially rotten bananas, moldy grapes, rotten blueberries with flies, etc. I have also received bags of chips that were mostly crushed, meat that was on it's expiration date (technically ok, I guess, but I had to prepare it that night instead of on the weekend as planned - and, again, this is obviously not a choice I would have made myself), and I could go on... I have also been disappointed lately with the selection of quality goods when I actually go into the store myself. (Maybe that's why they need to get rid of items through Curbside?) I was especially disappointed lately when I went to pick up flowers for my wife just before Mother's Day. I frequently buy her flowers here and have mostly been pleased by the price and quality. However, they seem to have taken advantage of this high demand time. The quality of the flowers was poor (completely dead in 3 days, roses never even bloomed) and the price was almost double what I usually pay for the same thing.

Read moreI have been shopping at this HEB for seven years and the service has always been great. Tonight I was at the self checkout and my son said he wanted buddy bucks. I told him to ask the lady at the self checkout for some. She told him he has to get them at the register. Every single time we have been at self check out the cashiers have always been friendly and have some behind the self check out registers. If they don’t have any they have always went above and beyond to the next nearby “partner” for some. I was perplexed that she told my son this. I asked her for some and she told me the same thing and I said can you get us some from the register? She said she couldn’t leave. We went and got some from the nearby register after checking out which was a few feet away. That cashier was nice and friendly and asked how many we wanted. Little things like this always make our HEB experience a great one. I have never experienced rude service at this HEB until tonight. Read moreI am deeply disappointed with the lack of response from HEB's leadership. Despite my multiple attempts to communicate with them, both within the facility and through email with higher-level executives, I have received nothing but failed promises. The parking lot lines have not been repainted and as a result, I am constantly unable to park my motorcycle in the designated spot due to others parking in it. It's frustrating to see that people don't want to follow rules, but it's even more frustrating that HEB isn't enforcing parking regulations to make it fair for everyone. After 23 years of shopping at this store, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I will be visiting the new HEB, where I hope to find better-marked areas and a greater level of compliance. It's a shame that it has come to this. Yes You responded as expected, But I have exhausted all efforts dealing with your Partners. Every single complaint has fallen on deaf ears.
