LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Bonita Springs

Horrible establishment! Was told that they do not take reservations. Got there for a birthday celebration dinner and hostess told us it would be about 20-30 min wait time. No air-conditioning in the waiting area. Very hot. Hostess sat a family that came in after us. Clearly we saw them give the name and how many was in the party and they were added to the wait list. They were sat before us. After we complained they sat us next. We were sat at a table that was at the entrance of the bathrooms and smack in the middle isle of walkway to bathroom. People were walking to and from the bathroom and had to maneuver around our table and chairs. Very uncomfortable. When there was numerous open booths available, we asked for a booth and the hostess declined stating there were no waitress at the booths and that they don't take reservations. Her attitude and no way out of situation prompted me to ask for a manager as my experience was mind blown that they wouldn't assist the customer and accommodate. The table position was such that a handicapped person requiring a wheelchair wouldn't even be able to get through. We decided to leave as the manager never came and on our way out a waitress offered us to sit at the booths however, I respectfully declined and informed her we were already decided on leaving and going elsewhere more appropriate. We asked again to speak to management as obviously the hostess ignored our previous request. This was in fact one of the most horrible experiences I have experienced at a restaurant celebrating a friend's birthday with her niece. We will NOT be going back to this establishment do not recommend and it is considered low class in respect to the service and experience of the hostess. Its neighbor Buca Di Beppo suffered a similar fate. Considering this is supposed to be good chain steakhouse, you would think quality carries across the board but it didn't. We were a large party so we called ahead to put our name on a list and when we got there we still had to wait an additional 40 minutes because the previous large party had been sitting there for over 2 hours. (Normally when there are a lot of people, most restaurants will start getting the people out that have been there for a long time)

Once we finally sat down our server hardly brought us enough bread for even the full table. I don't know if the server was overwhelmed but could not keep up with the drink refills. Two of the kids steaks were pretty dry and chewy which absolutely sucked for them. My meal (Parmesan crusted chicken ) was cold which is absolutely disgusting and there is nothing worse than cold food so I didn't even want to eat. My side dish did not come out either. I had to ask for it twice. By the time it came, I was already over the food and had to take it to go. If I wanted cold food I wouldn't have had them cook it in the first place. We were also celebrating a birthday, which the server was aware and it was rather sad a birthday year want even offered to her, we were just directed towards the dessert menu.🤯.

For a party of nine tips would have been a lot better. Had the service have been more prompt. It Prevented me from wanting to order appetizers or adult drinks. The gratuity was not even worth it. We definitely will not be back if we're ever...

Wow!!!! But this isn't how it started!! When we 1st arrived we asked for a booth that wasnt cold or near ac and we were sat right under an ac!! So we ask for a manager and over comes Francisco who immediately turns up the air and then offers us to move when a booth becomes available and so we ended up moving to a way better booth...and our server Toni who just moved here from MS. She was just wonderful!! Anyhoo we had quite the hiccup with our food and let me tell you what Francisco and Toni WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to rectify and remedy everything even to sending back my steak one more time because he stood at the table to make sure my steak was cooked to perfection and saw it was rare and went back with it to make sure it was right!! Lately we haven't seen this kind of service in the food industry in SWFL and we most definitely havent seen Francisco's spirit of excellence anywhere else...we will definitely come back here and we encourage you folks to come and eat here too!!! Also tonight was family night it seemed...lots of families with babies so young children are welcome here...they were covid compliant and clean...oh and I suppose I should tell you about our steaks we learned something...ribeyes w/out bone are cooked on flattop so you must order flame grilled to truly experience the LH taste...we also ordered grilled mushrooms and salads...our dessert was...
