On December 3rd around 6pm I stopped by the restaurant to try it for the first time. When ordering I asked the server how the pizza ordering process was because IT WAS MY FIRST TIME as per my words. He explained that I can pick anything from the options and the price shown per size will be the cost of the pizza. All good up to that moment.
To my surprise, when the bill came, just one single pizza costed $46!!!!
Went to the cashier area to double check because it was a lot of money for a pizza. The lady turned me back to the table, she said the server will help. She could easily helped me but I guess she just passed me to the next employee…
Waited in my table, until I see one of the managers passing by, I asked for her assistance and she nicely helped. Explained that in fact each of the ingredientes ordered costs $2.2 so summarized it all went up to $46 (yes, just one pizza) I explained her it was a miscommunication between me and my server because I asked him how to order and he didnt mention that each ingredient costs extra. Honestly I didnt read the full menu because I was just following what I was told on how to order.
Then my server was supposed to come to my table to talk about the issue, but it didnt happen. There was a bigger group of people that he was helping at the same time and he prioritized them over my table since I was only two guest vs +8 guests on that table.
I’m not mad at the server, I understand sometimes under pressure its hard to concentrate and keep organization. But my main complains are:
COMMON SENSE if you see that a customer is ordering a bunch of ingredientes and you as an employee know that each ingredient has a cost and the pizza will turn very expensive; the least to say is “hey guys, just remember each ingredient costs extra, is that ok?” Not just let it go because I would’ve definitely return it if I knew the final price!
Very frustrating the fact that the cashier lady didnt help at all. Tell me to go back to my table that my server will help wasn’t the best answer, specially if I had a question about the bill!
I understand that the biggest the table, the better because of more tips, more food to be sold, etc. But if I was in the restaurant before and almost finishing, why leave me waiting all the time? It wasnt a lot of minutes but I needed to go, and I had the bill on hand so it was a 1 minute stop and then I was gone and you could’ve use my table for the people that was waiting in line at the front desk. Logistics failed here.
Part of the customer service is to provide solution to customers when needed and in my case i didnt get any help and paid an extremely overpriced pizza!

Read more"Yeah, that was disappointing." (One of my guests comment as we left.) And I completely agree. We debated between two new pizza joints and decided to give The Crust a try. Honestly I expected at least some Good pizza, but didn't even find that. The place was pretty packed for Monday night but nonetheless we anticipated a good quick bite, but we weren't in a hurry and it's a good thing. Admittedly, if I was hungry when we arrived, someone would have ended up in tears or we would have left. We didn't give a drink order for at least 20minutes but the server and manager came over 3-4times to say she would be over soon. By the time she did come to take our order, it seemed any questions or pause was an opportunity for her to say "I'll give you another minute". Based on what I could tell: there either a. weren't enough servers on shift or b. she was really bad at serving. We ordered two different specialty pizzas and a meatball sub..... and they were meh. I did see on the menu that they have only Thin Crust pizza .... which may disappoint some since the name (to me) sounds like a dominant part of their recipe but my guest thought maybe it was because the bottom is the Crust? Or a play on words because there is no Crust? Still not so sure! In all Frankness: the meat lovers reminded me of Totinos.... and I'm not trying to be mean, that's seriously the first thing I thought of. And the meatball sub was ok. I mean overall the food was just ok.... nothing terribly gross but nothing full of flavor or CRAVE-WORTHY. Did I mention the sub arrived to the table 10minutes behind the pizza? And it's literally meatballs sauce and cheese on toasted bread! Ok the straw that broke the two star chance was an attempt at ordering a light beer from their Florida Brewery list..... the waitress sent over what I thought was a manager whom had no idea and ended up recommending an IPA when asked for a light wheat beer. Just Meh! $50 for 4people to eat but next time I'll order some take out...
Read moreI usually do not write reviews; however, our service was subpar. On Wednesday, April 24th, while visiting Naples, FL, we decided to try the Crust Pizza. It was a slow night, with only a few customers in the restaurant. They had already been served their food when we arrived. We ordered individual “create your own pizza.” Then, we waited 30 minutes after placing our order. When the server finally brought the pizza to the table, he only brought one. He said the other pizza would be out. The pizza that was brought to our table was not hot. Obviously, it had been placed under a heat light for a while. I told the server the pizza was not hot, and he began making excuses. I asked where the other pizza was, and he replied that they had to make it over because the wrong ingredients had been added. He could have told us this when he brought out the first pizza. We were highly disappointed and asked to speak with the manager. We told the manager we wanted to eat our meal together, not bring out one pizza at a time. Who wants to go to a restaurant where one person is served, but the other still waits for their meal to be brought out? The manager showed no empathy for their mistake or that the pizza he brought out was cold. The manager and server both lacked service skills. Neither one of them offered an apology for our inconvenience. We canceled our order and left. I would never go back to this establishment, nor would I...
