Never again. I usually use festus. Never had an issue there except wait time. It was more convenient for me to use bonne terre this time, or so I thought. Received an email day before that script was ready. Arrived morning after and waited ten minutes in drive thru. Decided to go inside because I needed to get through faster. Woman at register couldn't find my name. Then she couldn't find my script. Then she found my script but said it hadn't been filled even though her system said it had been filled. Was coughing into her hands while trying to put pills into the bottle and asked the pharmacist to complete it and walked away. Then pharmacist walks away and asks a third person to give me my medication and check me out. She didn't ask me for my information like they normally do. I was already 30 minutes in so I grabbed it and left without looking like I normally do. Went to take my medication that evening and thankfully I double checked because it's someone else's prescription all together. They gave me the wrong medication. They are closed so now I will have to go to a 24 hour tomorrow and explain this entire situation and pray they fix it.
To add now a day later went to farmington to get my correct script. They could not "void" the transaction done by a different store so now I HAVE to go back to bonne terre to correct the issue. Three days inconvenience...
Read moreI will be moving my scripts from this store. I called in a refill, gave a time for pick-up, and when I arrived, it was closed. Turns out the pharmacist did not show up, so they were not open all day.
Yet, we had the recording to order our refills, and give approximate time for pick-up. How hard would it have been for one employee to stay on premise, to at least answer the phones, letting us know they would not be filling any orders today? All we received when we did call for a staff member, is they were serving someone else. (The standard response, when they are open and busy.) Most of us would have been able to accept the situation. But, we were led to believe our refills would be ready, by the recording, and no employees available to answer our calls.
Some of us have life-threatening medications, which have to be taken correctly. But, because this store was so incompetent in respecting the needs of their patrons, we are now in a position to have to find other ways to secure them. What is really bad is that this is Saturday, and they are also closed on Sunday.
It is hard for me to fathom how this was allowed to happen. But, it will not happen to me, and many others I know whom will also move their scripts elsewhere. However, because of the corporate policies, which helped generate this chaos, it will not be within the...
Read moreI want to update my post from one star to 4 and say they've been much better about things for the last couple years or so. My previous post was written during COVID, maybe they were having supply issues? Tomorrow will be the 3rd day in a row that I was told the rest of my partial prescription refill would be ready. They gave me 5 days worth, 4 days ago, on a 30 day script that I've been taking with zero issues for years. It seems they are waiting for me to "run out" before they give me the rest. If that's the case, could they just be honest and stop telling me they're ready over the phone or on the website? Never had any other pharmacy, or other Walgreens chains do this to me... looks like I'm gonna have to drive farther, to a different one from now on. Thank God I don't have a life or anything sarcasm, since I have to drive to walgreens every single day to see if the staff feels like giving me my script or not... this...
