EL PATIO BAR & GRILL — Restaurant in Bossier City

I've been waiting for the crowd to die down before we tried this new restaurant. Tonight we finally decided to give it a try. This new restaurant did not disappoint! The parking lot has been packed for weeks and now I know why. We were greeted immediately and seated right away with our small party of 4. Our waiter was at our table as soon as we were seated and took our drink order. My husband and I ordered a Combo Platter which had a beef tamale, chicken, enchilada and a beef burrito covered in white sauce. We also had chips and salsa with a small bowl for each person (double dipping...YES!). The food came out very quickly and it was very tasty. We didn't know the combo plates didn't include rice and beans? So, we ordered that as a side. I have been to several Mexican restaurants since moving here 3 years ago from San Antonio and each one was just 'aight.' I thought a good Tex mex dining experience was just non-existent in Bossier/Benton. I'm happy to say that El Patio proved me wrong! The food was excellent👌! The refried beans are a favorite of mine and El Patios were SO good! Everything we had was out of the park great tasting. Our waiter was on point throughout our meal. He brought us drinks when we ran low without asking, and extra napkins. Let's just say the entire experience was so good we can't wait to go back! I miss San Antonio food and this place gave me about as close to that as we've had in 3 years. Great...

if i could i would give it zero stars. well we went here to celebrate my sisters birthday, the reviews were good so we decided to go. i dont know where to start. but the food has been the worst. we ordered a t bone steak and mixed fajitas. i could say that the fajitas were bad but you could eat them, the steak was just awful, i'm not sure if it was beef, i don't think it's that hard to make a steak, right? but the flavor, the color just wasn't right. i asked for a knife because the beef was so tough, the knife they gave me was a disgrace. but what i can say that bothered me the most was the attitude of this place when we were honest in saying that the food was not good that we couldn't eat it because it was awful and we didn't get an answer from them, they just didn't care. the truth is if it had been up to me i wouldn't have paid for this meal. so our experience hasn't been good at all and even less to...
